Beautiful short stay
Perfect cosy cottage close to Saltburn. Margaret kindly left a bottle prosecco in the fridge for our arrival. We had an excellent few days, the kids enjoyed surfing in Saltburn and paddle boarding in Scarborough. Staithes and Robin Hoods bay are idyllic. We would definitely recommend for a family stay.

Perfect quiet break
Great location if you want to be near busier places such as Whitby and robin hoods bay but then return to a quiet pretty little village and relax in such a lovely cottage which has everything you need , extremely clean and well looked after with plenty of extra little touches
It was my partners birthday whilst we were there and Margaret even thought to leave a card and bottle of bubbly
We took our 3 year old little girl who thought it was wonderful ! And the little park only a short walk away was an extra bonus

Cosy cottage in a beautiful setting
This was our first trip away as a family and the cottage didn’t disappoint. It was perfect for myself, my husband and our one year old. The cottage is beautiful, set in a very peaceful location, yet close to the coast, Moors and Whitby.
This cosy cottage had everything that you would need including all the essentials for a small child - cot, high chair, fire guard, stair gate. I can’t express how helpful that was to us. My little boy enjoyed exploring the garden and completing the treasure hunt (with a bit of help from Mum). The treats left in the cottage were a lovely touch and much appreciated!
I was impressed with the Covid measures sent out to us before our trip and felt very safe. The instructions ensured a smooth arrival and departure and Margaret’s recommendations of things we could do during our stay were very useful - we visited most places suggested.
We only had 4 days at the cottage but would have loved to have stayed longer. We hope to return - thank you for a wonderful stay Margaret.

Beautiful little cottage in a lovely quiet location.
Just enjoyed a long weekend in this beautifully maintained cottage in the lovely, quiet village of Moorsholm. Close enough to the wonderful Yorkshire coastline and the quaint fishing villages clinging to the cliffside but far enough away from the crowds to be be an extremely relaxing retreat. The cottage was scrupulously clean and contained everything we needed for a lovely relaxing break. The local villagers were very friendly and even supplied us with lots of fresh fruit and veg at one point! Thoroughly recommended and we would have no hesitation in booking again. 5 stars all round! :-)

Comfortable and cosy cottage.
We had a four night stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. It was perfect for our needs, and close to very pretty beaches which was great for our 4 year old granddaughter. She loved her bedroom at the cottage and enjoyed the garden and the local playground. We also appreciated the treasure hunt for her, kindly arranged by Margaret. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay and Margaret was extremely helpful and thoughtful.

Cosy well equipped cottage
My wife and I were back again to this cosy well equipped cottage in the quiet village of Moorsholm for a few relaxing days at the end of September. The cottage was spotlessly clean and every effort had been made to ensure that the cottage complied fully with the Covid-19 regulations - thank you Margaret.

Beautiful Cottage
What an absolutely beautiful cottage this is, a real gem! We booked Honeysuckle Cottage to celebrate 33yrs of marriage and when we arrived we found a bottle of wine and an Anniversary card on the dining table from Margaret, that is how kind and thoughtful Margaret is. The personal touches make all the difference.
The Cottage was beautiful, clean and well maintained. It is peaceful and tranquil, and is an ideal location for those looking for a relaxing break. Enjoy sitting on the bench in the front garden in the sun, or in the evening sitting out back on the elevated decking area lit by the outdoor lighting, sipping wine under the stars.
The cottage is ideally located to explore the beautiful Yorkshire Coast and Moors.
Margaret ensured the cottage complied with Covid 19 regulations and provided hand sanitiser at the front door for use before entering the cottage.
We will be going back to Honeysuckle Cottage in the future, we would definitely recommend it to friends and family. In my opinion this cottage is a little piece of heaven. We left the cottage relaxed and refreshed.
Thank you Margaret for providing such wonderful, clean accommodation and keeping us informed throughout the booking.

Moorsholm is ideally situated and within easy reach of all the fascinating features and towns in the area. We have a large number of books, maps and leaflets which will guide you through and make sure that you have lots to see and do during your stay. The area has a fascinating history and Kirkleatham Museum (free entrance) houses an exhibition of items and jewellery of an Anglo Saxon princess which was found in a farmers field a few miles from the cottage.
