Grosmont Cottage is situated in beautiful Eskdale only 1 mile from Whitby. A single storey stone cottage which is well furnished. Full central heating included and safe parking on site. Perfect for a family of 4 or couples for Spring and Autumn country/coast breaks. Rental prices are lower for 2 people ( except school holidays ). The local village of Ruswarp has very good facilities with an Inn serving meals, Superb Butchers, Cafe, Boating, Steam Railway and Childrens Indoor Play Centre. Whitby with it's Abbey and good beaches has all year round attractions and in the summer lots of outdoor activities for adults and children including boat rides and Panett Park which has a superb children's playgound. Hi folks would hire again lovely place lovely venue and a nice wall into Whitby Two things did anony me however we had to get the vacuum cleaner out to clear away dead flies and open the windows to release the biggest wasp you have ever seen in December which says to me the cleaners weren’t very attentive not the...

A little off the beaten track but a Great location for visiting the North Yorkshire coast overlooking fields and sheep with Whitby Abbey in the distance. The only downside is the shower it’s a little weak but that could just be down to the water pressure but otherwise a cosy little cottage which is very well equipped.

The water pressure can be a little poor for the shower being at the top of a hill but we do also have the bath. The cottage is of solid local stone construction and all on one level with double glazing and gas central heating for the colder months.
Accommodation consists of a lounge with new fitted dining kitchen area. New Bathroom for 2012 with shower over bath. Two bedrooms, one with double bed, wardrobe and drawers and the other with two single beds, wardrobe and drawers.
The cottage is well furnished and all heating and bedding are included in the price.
