A Spacious newly refurbished 2 bedroomed apartment on the much sought after Whitehall Landing in Whitby, N Yorkshire. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable and a short flat ten minute stroll along the harbour into Whitby. We have furnished the apartment with new quality furniture and linens to make it a real home from home. Parking in Whitby is at a premium so the dedicated parking space that comes with the apartment is worth its weight in gold!

Wonderful
Wonderful apartment with parking space 😁🅿️🅿️. Great finish to all rooms and only a 10 minute walk into town. Fish and chips close by and 3 pubs on the way to town. Would recommend to everyone. 5 stars ✨✨✨✨✨

Wonderful Whitehall
Lovely apartment with two spacious bedrooms and a parking space which is a bonus for Whitby. Excellent location, an easy flat walk 10 mins to the old town. Close enough to get to pubs/restaurants etc but far enough away from the action, it is a very quiet development. Apartment spotlessly clean and well equipped.

Fabulous apartment
We stayed for 3 nights over New Year, correspondence with Jane was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Parking a great bonus, apartment was spotless, and so well equipped. We stay in apartments more than hotels and this is defiantly one of the best. Bed was so comfy and bedding was really good quality, we slept like logs. Very quiet location, never heard a sound from another apartment. About 5 minutes walk from nearest pub and 10 mins stroll to centre, would recommend this holiday home and look forward to our next stay. Thank you for a lovely stay, oh and the bottle of wine and biscuits were an added bonus.

Amazing apartment in Whitby
We stayed as a family and loved this amazing little apartment next to the river in Whitby, It’s a nice 5 min walk down the side of the river into the harbour and main shops, restaurants and beach with a few pubs along the way which are handy on the way out or way back along with a couple of nice chippies. It’s also close but far enough to be out the mix and really chilled in the evening. The kids loved the little park next the apartment and could crab catch when the tide was high at the side of the apartments. The apartment was very spacious in all rooms and really clean, couldn’t fault the place at all to be honest. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and likewise we would certainly come back. Thanks for the great stay.

Fantastic accomodation !!!!
The accomodation is well located and only a ten minute walk to the centre of Whitby. It has all the amenities you could wish for. It is spotlessly clean and spacious and well presented. The added bonus too is that you have allocated car parking space which is a god send in Whitby. This is the best apartment I have stayed in, in all the years I have visited Whitby. The owner replied very promptly whenever I had need to contact her. Thank you Jane H for making my stay very enjoyable.

Lovely Apartment Not Far From Centre
We stayed here for a short break and we we very happy with the standard of the apartment. It was clean, fresh and modern. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived which was a nice touch and hand sanitizer on the entrances to the building and in the flat itself which was reassuring. It had a lovely kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, large fridge-freezer and microwave. All the appliances were spotless and looked quite new so if we had been there longer I would have had no problems with cooking a meal. The rooms were bright and decently sized to say it was a flat and the designated parking space makes things very easy when unpacking/packing your suitcases. The beds were comfortable and clean and the bedrooms had plenty of storage space. The bathroom is also a nice size and again spotless. The electric heaters were easy to operate and warmed up the rooms very quickly. It is just a short walk to the river and marina. We were very lucky to see a kingfisher! The railway station is straight across and we saw the steam train pulling in every day we were there which was lovely. It is only a slow ten minute walk at the most into Whitby town centre and brings you to all the little shops on the Abbey side. The walk is mostly on the flat and at the side of the river so you have plenty to look at with all the boats. There are quite a few nice pubs on the way too and a fish and chip shop just down the road. We enjoyed our stay very much here and would definitely stay again for a bit longer as it was a shame we had to go home.

Lovely appartment plenty of room and there was everything you needed. We enjoyed the wine and the kids enjoyed the Pringles that where left for us. Would deffinatly reccomed staying here and will definitely be returning when we come to stay at Whitby again.

Superb Again
Our 2nd stay here was superb again. Handy parking space and great communication with owner made for a smooth arrival. Lots of space and high quality accommodation in a peaceful area. Easy walk into Whitby and short drives to Runswick Bay, Staithes and Goathland. Also visited the microbrewery by the Abbey. Great stay.

Great accommodation
Great accommodation and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. A family of 4 with 2 teenage children and we will visit again. The positives: - comfortable, clean, modern, secure and well equipped flat - quiet neighbours - great location being a pleasant 10 minute walk into the town centre - a dedicated parking space, with it being so close to town we only used the car when spending time outside of Whitby. The negatives: - none The only suggestion I could make for an improvement has been mentioned by a couple of other guests and that would be black out curtains in the double bedroom, but that's very minor. Lack of wifi wasn't a problem for us and ensured the kids weren't glued to their phones. Great location for crabbing 2 minutes outside of your front door :-)

Well located, spacious apartment
My father and I stayed at the apartment for three nights. He has mobility difficulties but got on fine in the apartment as there is lift access and it’s flat and uncluttered throughout. Having the parking at the back was invaluable! The flat was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was slightly frustrating not having WiFi as I couldn’t get signal throughout the flat and was needing to look up various information online, but it wasn’t a major issue. It was a lovely touch having wine and snacks left for us and the toiletry box for if you forgot anything was a great idea. The location near the main A road was useful as we journeyed out of Whitby a couple of days to enjoy the moors and steam railway (very much recommend it). It was a pretty 10-15 min walk to town and on the right side for the Abbey. We ate at Abbey Wharf and out of town at the Cross Butts pub/restaurant, both had good food and lovely views. Thanks for a lovely stay with lots of great memories.

About the neighborhood
Whitby 14 is in a quiet development next to the riverside which flows into Whitby. It is a short five to ten minute stroll alongside the harbour into Whitby with its abundance of thriving popular restaurants, cafes and pubs to suit every taste and budget. Whitby has a great sandy beach. There are numerous pleasure boat trips on offer from the harbourside, along with fishing or whale watching trips. Five minutes on foot will see you on your way to beautiful coastal walks and there is a good bus service to bring you back if your legs get tired! Explore the famous Whitby Abbey with its connections to Dracula, frighten the kids with a ghost walk, take a Steam train trip from Whitby station, or seek out the old haunts of Captain James Cook.
Getting around
Whitby is well served with bus routes up and down the coast and over to the historic Roman town of York. The Railway station is situated in Whiby town and provides normal services plus steam train adventures across the Moors. There are lots of lovely walks to do and of course our dedicated parking space is worth its weight in gold as parking is at a premium in popular Whitby. You can explore further afield in your car safe in the knowledge that you will have a place to park when you return.

How to get there
Directions from Scarborough follow directions to Whitby on A171. On Heirdale road go past the Sainsbury's store on the right, follow road a further half mile, turn onto Spital Bridge (a road name not an actual bridge) take the second turn on the left onto Whitehall Landing. Directions from Middlesbrough approach on A171 go past the park and ride and follow the road down to the traffic lights. Turn right and go across the road bridge with the wonderful view to your left. Immediately you come off the bridge turn left into SpitalBridge ( street name not another bridge) take the 2nd left turn into Whitehall Landing. ONCE YOU HAVE TURNED INTO WHITEHALL LANDING Follow the road down and take the first left turn into the car park. Your dedicated parking space for number 14 is on the right. PLEASE ONLY PARK IN THAT SPACE. The entrance to the apartment block is down the short flight of steps.and the front door is to your right. (If any of your party struggles with steps you can take the car around the corner to drop them off and they can approach the apartment via a flat path) At the side of the entrance there is a large blue door with a keypad on it the code will be sent to you separately just before your stay. On the inside of the blue door you will find the keysafe which contains the apartment keys. Code will be sent to you just before your stay. To close the door again pull the white cord. The larger of the two keys opens the entrance door the smaller one opens the apartment door which is on the first floor. Please remember to sanitise your hands and continue to wear your mask until you enter the apartment. There is a lift just inside the front door if you need it ( only members of the same household to use it together) After all that have a cup of tea and start to enjoy your holiday. Check in time for Whitby14 is 3pm onwards
