We have recently returned from a lovely trip away staying at Surlingham Lodge Cottages. Robin and Elena were wonderful hosts (and also very flexible as we had our three month old with us) and the Garden Cottage met all our needs and was a great base for exploring the area! We would definitely recommend and look forward to our next trip!

Fantastic stay
We visited this beautiful location and accommodation during the half term for 3 nights. Wish we could of stayed for longer. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Our boys loved the garden with the tree house, swing and lots more. Looking forward to returning in the future. Many Thanks for a really enjoyable stay.

Surlington GardenCottage - holiday
Lovely location, beautiful country side but near lovely Norwich. Commutable also to beaches by car. Pretty, good size and comfortable holiday cottage, nice and clean. Gardens are very pretty, and so well-maintained, our children loved the big garden and the treehouse with garden toys. Pleasant hosts. We enjoyed our stay.

Weekend stay
We had a relaxing and comfortable stay. The cottage has everything you could need with the added bonus of being in a beautiful location. Near to Norwich for the city but also in easy reach of the coast or stay local and enjoy riverside and country walks. Robin and Elena made us very welcome from our first email contact through to departure.

perfect base for exploring the area
nestling in a quiet village the accomodation was to a high quality as advertised. a big part of our holiday is exploring the narrow roads leading out to more busy tourist areas. If you are nervous of coming face to face with farm machinery on what are sometimes little more than cart tracks, this is not for you but main roads are never more than a few minutes away.
Getting away from it all is our thing and this lodge and the area ticked all the right boxes.

Picture Perfect Rural Retreat
Lovely cottage with everything you need. Really enjoyed ourselves, particularly liked Bressingham gardens and Minsmere, was a lovely day out, even though we got caught in a shower! Thanks for the wine, it was a lovely thought. We will recommend the cottage for family and friends”

Garden Cottage
I stayed with my daughter and her 2 year old. He loved the garden especially the tree house and he really liked his holiday home. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything you need for a holiday stay. We were welcomed on our arrival and a welcome pack was in the property.
The location is good for visiting the beach, city or countryside.

A perfect base...
I am in the process of relocating to Norfolk with my family and have been staying at the Surlingham Lodge Garden suite since November. Robin and Elena have been excellent; really helpful and extremely welcoming. The accommodation has worked well, both when I am on my own and when the family come up - my two boys (9 and 6) have loved their bedroom and running about in the garden. it is a great location from which to explore Norfolk, both in terms of Norwich city and the further afield villages and the coast; not to mention a few local pubs within a short drive/walk. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful holiday
I've been in Norwich for a fortnight with my husband and 10 year old son and we stayed in Surlingham Lodge Garden Cottage.
What a lovely place!
At the beginning you are met by the hosts (very nice and friendly couple). They can give you advices where to go and what to see. It's priceless, when you don't know the area.
The cottage was very clean and cosy. Furnished with impeccable taste.
The garden is wonderful. My son was happy to run around on the lawn.
In conclusion-if you want a place to stay in Norwich/Surlingham you definitely want to choose Surlingham Lodge Garden Cottage. You will want to come back!)
