Rental Home -
3 Bedrooms , 3 Bathrooms , Sleeps 6
London, England
Sleeps 6. Exclusive 3 bedroom mews house is located in a quaint leafy cobbled street in Central London. It is decorated to a very high standard and is only a 3 mins walk to buses/5 mins walk to the underground railway system. Within 10 mins train/15 mins bus from the heart of London.

This exclusive mews house was originally where the Victorian houses kept their horse and carriage; in the early 1930s these were converted into quaint homes. The house is decorated to a very high standard and is tucked away in a quiet leafy mews. It is only a 2 minute walk to buses and a 5 minute walk to the underground railway system. Within a 10 minute train ride or a 15 minute bus ride you will be in the heart of the West End of London where department stores, theatres and restaurants are in abundance; there is even a bus that takes you direct to Harrods....

This was the perfect London home. I loved catching the Tube or a bus and then coming back to a neighborhood for the night to get out of the hustle and bustle. It truly is a short walk and a quick ride on either. The...More

We wanted to feel ‘at home’ during our six week stay in London, a place where we could retreat after a full day’s or evening’s experience of the sites, parks, streets and theatres of the city, or after a train trip to other parts of...More

About the neighborhood
Little Venice has its own restaurants, the oldest fringe theatre in London and a lovely selection of old pubs. Paddington is a 15 minute walk away and Padddington Park has tennis courts, a gym, running track (where Roger Banister trained for the 4 minute mile) and tea house. There are a number of shops within 100 meters including a small super market, hair dresser, wine and beer outlet, and dry cleaners/laundry.

How to get there
Airport: Heathrow: 9.3 mi
Railway: Paddington Main Rail: 1.2 mi
Ferry: Dover: 80.8 mi

If you are flying in to Heathrow we suggest that you either take a cab (about £45.00) or take the Heathrow Express train which brings you into Paddington Station within 15 minutes. A one way trip varies from £16.50 to £23.00 depending on how one obtains the ticket from on line to on the train itself. You can also take the Heathrow Connection which is cheaper but it only runs every half hour and takes 30 minutes to Paddington. We recommend the train, depending on the number of people travelling, as it is fast and convenient. If you do decide to take the train to Paddington station and presuming you have bags we suggest you take a cab to the house, about a 5 minute cab ride at a cost of about £6.00. You can walk it in 15 minutes if you are feeling up to it and are hap...
