Interaction with guests
A comprehensive flat management manual (pdf format) is sent to each guest when the booking is complete. Best to save this to a portable device or print it out, it is useful (though the photos don't print very well as I've tried to limit the file size). I try to update it as often as possible to reflect temporary attractions (exhibitions, etc.).

Very well documented notes led us to the flat and keys handover. Preparation was excellent immaculately clean throughout with plenty of utensils etc for six guests. Our family enjoyed their stay, finding travel from their very easy. Supermarket close by much appreciated, and local pub very friendly with great atmosphere.

We had a bad impression of the building (old, dirty) and we found the apartment with butt and used swab in the tableware support (disgusting). There was no broom or squeegee to clean the apartment, and we found a lot of dirty things in the cabinets. There were no toilet paper, no soap for the dishwasher, no towel to dry...

Management response:

I am very sorry this visit did not go as well as most. In the week prior, I had some Leeds university students who pretty much trashed the place, including breaking the sofa. I advised of this, and the guests seemed OK, because I don't think a short holiday can be improved by having to wait in all day for...

I try to be flexible about check in and check out times, except where guests leave and arrive on the same day, when I have to set a rule so that the cleaners can finish their job.

Spring Gardens was once the pleasure grounds of central London. It has since been extensively built on. Then it was extensively bombed and redeveloped by the London County Council.
