Tucked away in a safe, quiet cul-de-sac (pedestrian-only street), stay within a stone's throw of Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens, Notting Hill Gate, and Kensington High Street. This is a gorgeous Kensington townhouse set in one of the most attractive streets in London. This is your chance to escape the city, while being in one of its most loved areas. The ground floor has a large kitchen-dining room, as well as a spacious sitting room. It's a great space to escape the rush of London, or cook for the family. The decor is modern, international, with a splash of the unusual. On the first floor (second in US-speak) is a large double bedroom (King size bed), and a smaller double (4-ft bed), along with a bathroom with bathtub. About the neighborhood
They say London is a city of villages, flowing one into the next, and nowhere is that more true than of this neighbourhood, with its village pub, boutique shops and family life. But just a five-minute walk away and you're into the hustle and bustle of Kensington High Street, or walk north for 10-12 minutes and you're into famed Notting Hill. Head east and you're into Kensington Gardens, only 5 minutes away. Heading west you'll find Holland Park and Earl's Court from where Heathrow airport is easily accessed via the Picadilly line. Driving time to the airport is only 25-minutes in clear traffic.
Getting around
The location could hardly be better - for those looking to visit central London, High Street Kensington tube station offers the Circle and District lines taking you to South Ken, Sloane Square, Knightsbridge and on, while Notting Hill tube offers the Central line, taking you direct into Oxford Street and Theatreland. Taxis are easy to find on the local streets, and there's always an Uber nearby. Car rental is possible from several local locations, and once in a car, the highway out of town is a few minutes away, after which you can be into the rural beauty of England within 45 minutes. Oxford can be visited from Paddington Station, which is around 20 minutes away via the Circle Line.
