As for culture, we are in the middle of the theatre district with musicals, West End, Royal Opera House, National Gallery and the Royal Academy of Arts right on your door step. Excellent for shopping, restaurants and night life - 10 mins from Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Sq, Soho, Regent Street and China Town. The flat is kept in a modern, contemporary style. Located in a traditional building supposedly built for Queen Victoria’s officers around the corner from the water gate she used for embarking from the Thames River, this flat is truly right in centre of the most important sights of London. Although minutes away from Trafalgar Square, the flat is in a small street with virtually no traffic, allowing guests to relax and unwind after experiencing the buzz of London. Two underground stations (Charring Cross and Embankment) nearby give very easy access to The British Museum, St Paul's Cathedral and The Tower of London etc. Excellent transport links to all major airports. 10 min walk from Waterloo. Embankment / Charring Cross stations are just a few minutes walk away. Kings Cross / St Pancras station is just a short tube or bus ride away. There are various bus stops just a few minutes from the apartment which will take you around central London. Purchase an Oyster card at any tube station to ensure you always pay the lowest fare. It is very straight forward to top up. If you want to take a taxi then just walk up to the Strand where you can hail a passing cab with relative ease. If you want to travel further south you can also enjoy the scenic route and take a river boat on the Thames We are always just an email or phone call away and will email guests shortly after arrival to see if there is anything we can provide. Just ask if there is anything we can help with, such as advice about local attractions, places to eat/drink. A minimum charge of 5 nights applies for all stays (even for those of less than 5 nights), but does not apply where we have suitable shorter gaps between bookings.
