Stayed here for a week for my partners birthday. We used the local train service to travel to Liverpool and Southport to meet up with family. So no driving for me. Walk on the beach everyday, the weather Stayed dry for us.
Lynne was a prefect host, and to top it all we had the use of a hot tub.
Would recommend this place, 5 🌟

Gorgeous little gem
At first we weren't sure what to think as from the outside it looks like someone's house! But once you enter, it is so cosy and homely and tastefully decorated in... Yes you guessed it, a beach theme! Authentic feel and the hot tub was just an amazing extra. Lynne was a lovely host and offered anything extra we may have needed, she was warm and welcoming and she has the most adorable dog who I had squishy cuddles with! The garden is beautiful and in the hot tub you just watch the bees and butterflies going about their business, it feels so tranquil. It is a 10 min walk to the beach which is also amazing. Its a bit out of the way of the city centre but trains are often and less than a fiver for a day saver means you can travel into town and back (about 40 min journey) as often as you like. Little touches have been thought about e.g tea, sugar and coffee, milk, shower gel etc. Loved staying here and will definitely recommend and would 100% return.

Superb accommodation in excellent location
We have been fortunate to stay at The Beach House on a number of occasions, and would always make this our first choice to stay in or around Blundellsands.
The Beach House is appropriately named, as it is less than a a couple of minutes walk from the Beach, Antony Gormley's Iron Men, and with pleasant coastal walks on either side with nearby Crosby to the South and Hightown, Formby, Ainsdale to the North. Just as importantly, it is also a mere 3 or 4 minute walk from a regular train service into either Liverpool or Southport.
Lynne is an extremely friendly and excellent host, and The Beach House represents a superb excellent example of her very good taste.

Excellent Easter Experience
Having stayed at The Beach House before, we already knew that it provided everything that we could want for our Easter break. Lynne's property is very close to the beach, and Antony Gormley's 'Iron Men' and is certainly not just 'Another Place'. The sitting room is comfortable and spacious and the bedroom is cosy and suitable for a very quiet night's sleep.

Great for friends reunion
Four of us booked this property for a reunion. The property was ideal for what we needed with the hot tub being a bonus. Situated within easy walking distance of local train station it was easy to find. The beautiful beach is only 5 mins walk away and we enjoyed the coastal walk past the Antony Gormley statues towards Liverpool. A 5 min car drive takes you to local sainsburys and a few restaurants, or it is approx 15-20 mins straight drive into Liverpool where we were able to visit the dock area and city centre.
The property was clean and well stocked. The shower room is a little small and the single oven/microwave combination does make cooking a slight challenge which we overcame. Comfy lounge area and easy to assemble sofa bed meant it was fine for the four of us for a short break.

Wonderful base for walks up and down the coast from Waterloo to Hightown.
The coastal path is on the doorstep and we had a wonderful time exploring the delights of this part of our coast including Anthony Gormly's "Another Place" and the Crosby Coastal Park at Waterloo. Slightly further afield the red squirrels in the pine forest at Formby are definitely worth a visit.
Lynne is a terrific host. She made us very welcome and provided excellent suggestions for walks, places to visit and restaurants to try.
We have two dogs and they were constantly engaged meeting other dogs and friendly dog-walkers on the paths, beaches, dunes and parkland which stretch all the way along this fascinating coastal strip. A great place for a short break.
