This holiday rental is a lovely, late Georgian,early Victorian townhouse in a conservation area of Liverpool that has been sympathetically renovated and has many original features.
It is very spacious, tastefully decorated and homely.
There is a large sitting room, with TV that seats 9 people,a second sitting room /playroom in the cosy basement with original fireplace.There are plenty of toys and books for younger guests and a TV and DVD player with DVDs.
The kitchen is bright and well equipped and leads out to the utility room. There are two fridges, freezer and dishwasher. The dining room has a large dining table that can extend to seat 12, has French doors leading out to a court yard where there is a large table for outside dining.

Had a long weekend away for me and my friends birthdays! What a lovely, beautiful and fantastic house to stay in. It was so comfortable and cosy. Greeted by Tracy who is just fab, had tea, milk and biscuits to start us off. No complaints...More

About the neighborhood
Sandown House is in Sandown Lane which is within the Wavertree Village conservation area.
There are lots of different types of houses in the area and it has a wealth of history. The holiday home dates from around 1840 and has many original features.
There is a lovely local pub nearby which serves real ale, there is a Greek restaurant around the corner and walk a little further you will find Penny Lane and Allerton Road which has many restaurants to choose from.
There is a large park close by and a 'swing park' for children and a sports centre and swimming pool a short walk away.
Getting around
Transport is easily accessed, a short walk takes you to the bus stop or train station. Taxis are easily available with a private hire cab around £4-5 to the city centre.

Railway: Lime Street Station : 3.0 mi
Sandown Lane is easily accessible by all forms of transport. We are 5 minutes from the M62,10 minutes by car/taxi from Lime street, the main Liverpool rail station.It's around a 15 minute bus journey from the city centre, and taxis are plentiful.
You can also catch an overground train from Lime street to Wavertree Technology Park which takes around 5 minutes and then it's a ten minute walk to the house.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is also around 15 minutes by car.
