We expect all to respect our property and surroundings leaving it clean & tidy.
We booked this property for a family get together over the festive period. We chose the property due to the location. We knew that this was not a modern property but we did expect it to be clean. Upon arrival we had to go and purchase cleaning products as none were provided. We had 2 small dogs with us and could not find access to the back garden. I tried to contact the owners on the numbers provided with no response. I was later contacted by Clare who was helpful and informed us that there was no back garden and they do no accept dogs. Later that evening I was contacted by the owners David and Erica who were very rude!!! His words were we don't do dogs and they shouldn't be there. I explained to him that I had emailed prior to booking to ask if we could bring the dogs along with us. We later had a reply from Erica who said the dogs we have don't molt so as long as they stayed downstairs it would be fine. David went on to say you booked through a third party so that would not have happened. He then told me keep them down stairs and off the beds. I later looked back on all my booking correspondents and found the confirmation I needed.
I can honestly say this is was the dirtiest house we have ever stayed at. Below is a list of serious issues that need to be dealt with immediately as this property should not be rented until they are addressed.
No rear exit in case of fire
No sprinkler system
No light on top landing
Bannister of top landing rocks and is unsafe
Holes in floor boards outside rooms 4 & 6
No shower work correctly, no pressure so either very hot or very cold. When shower is used in room 3 it leaks through the ceiling of the living room.
The over flow in toilet of room 1 is constantly running
Mould in nearly all of the bedrooms
When it rained the wall in room 5 was soaking wet and a water bubble formed behind the paint and dripped on the floor.
A large damp patch on the wall of room 6
A foul smell of damp and sewer in room 3.
I noticed that some of the above points had already been raised with the owners as they were written in the visitors book that was in the hallway.
Smaller issues found
Only 2 of the 7 TV'S in the bedrooms worked.
The living room facilities (sofas) are not sufficient for the number of people staying at the property.
When the hob was turned on the extractor fan was so full of dirty grease it dripped down on what we were cooking. The oven was thick with dirty grease and a filthy oven glove was hanging over the door.
The fridge was filthy and old food left in the freezer and the dishwasher was also full of crockery.
The button of the tumble dryer was broken so were were unable to use.
This week stay cost over £2500 and in our opinion it is very over priced for what you get.
Also whilst we were there another couple checked in the the 1 bedroom apartment that has been built at the back of the property. The knocked on the door and asked us about our property when we checked in as they told us that there's was filthy dirty. I went to have a look as they asked me to and could not believe what I saw. The laundry room was full from top to bottom with dirty towels and bedding that had just been left there and the and like the house was not clean.
I could go forever about this house but the more I think of it the more it infuriates me.

We have no knowledge of this person or his dogs on any dates and certainly not the New year period.
We have reported this eye sore if a review to TA but nothing has been done though not a single booking from this sauce since this very damaging mistaken or maklicious rant was published Please check all our reviews on tripadvisor.con or anywhere else.
Thank you for reading my late response I only saw it myself after doing the 21-22 accounts and wondered why although a busy year nithing from TA at all since 97/0122.

brilliant family holiday home
Over the years I have stayed in many self-catering establishments in Blackpool,but this was easily the best. All rooms are very comfortable and fitted to a very high standard.The lounge is very relaxing and the kitchen has every conceivable appliance you could require including a large fridge-freezer,essential for large families.Many shops (including Sainsbury's) within easy walking distance.The Tower complex is also a reasonable distance away.Would highly recommend this guest house for large family gatherings....there were 12 in our party and we all agreed it was terrific. I would certainly go there again.

Great home
Stayed here for a weekend 13 adults mixed ages. Lovely house, very clean, everything you needed was available, nice little touches in bedrooms, bottle water, tea/coffee, shampoo shower gel in bathrooms. Only short walk to town/sea front. Would recommend to family and friends.
