Penrith is just 10 minutes drive to the Lake District but also has lots to keep you occupied within its town centre. Located in the conservation area this small house is ideal for couples and families alike and has everything to make your stay in this beautiful part of Cumbria an enjoyable experience. 10 minutes by car and you are in the Lake District with beautiful scenery and walks for all abilities. The Ullswater Steamer leaves Pooley Bridge every 20 minutes for cruises up and down the lake. Pooley Bridge is 10 minutes away by car.
Getting around
There is a bus station just around the corner, with buses to Keswick and other towns within the Lake District. You can purchase a day explorer ticket on the bus. The train station is 10 minutes from the house, with trains to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Preston and Lancaster.
