Sleeping 24 this house has magnificent views over Morecambe Bay. Ideal for several families holidaying together or a large group of friends. The house is ideally placed in an area of outstanding natural beauty just on the edge of the lake district. One of the best sunset views in the world is in winter over the bay when the tide has been out long enough for some of the sand to dry.
Silverdale is located on the north of Morecambe Bay on the border of Cumbria and Lancashire in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The house is surrounded by ancient woodland and is perfectly situated as a base to explore the surrounding area and the southern Lakes.

Huge house. Homely with great views from the front.
Lovely quiet location with stunning views. Hot tub is a great extra. You can walk into the small village but you’re best to have a car. Huge kitchen/diner and lounge. Huge space inside and out. Saw two deers in the garden.

Perfect family stay
Bay View House was perfect for our family holiday. Great location with so much natural beauty on the doorstep. Lovely walks of all types. The house was perfect for our family, it has everything (apart from a tin opener :D but we purchased one and left it for the next family) you could need. Kids loved running around the garden and walks exploring the coves and caves at low tide.

Just perfect 😍
Bayview House is one of the best places we have stayed. Great location, stunning views and amazing garden. The house its self was out of this world, loads of character, well maintained with everything you could ever need. The children loved get lost in maze of rooms. Everyone in our party from young children, teenagers, young adults and grandparents all absolutely loved it!!!

Excellent all rounder
House was brilliant had a fabulous weekend. Well equipped and spacious for a large group. Enjoyed the outdoor space and hot tub.

Excellent accommodation for large mixed aged groups
Fantastic house for a mixed age group, lots of activities to do for everyone without even leaving the house.
Brilliant facilities for catering for a large group and so much space.
Gorgeous views from nearly every window and we discovered some amazing walks nearby

We had the best time
This is the third time we have been to the house as a family and we love it, the views are amazing and the space is great for a large group! We look forward to going again soon

An amazing house in an amazing location
The first thing that strikes you about Bay View House is the wonderful view across Morecambe Bay. Equally wonderful are the reception rooms and bedrooms, many of which have views across the bay. It takes a while to find your way around - there are lots of things to discover both inside and out. Inside, there are classical statues, Chinese urns, comfortable sofas, a dressing up cupboard and a choice of bedrooms, most of which are en-suite. Outside the grounds are equally fascinating, with a hot-tub, under cover table tennis table, badminton net, two underground hidey holes and it was our third day before we discovered the statue of Rameses the Great hiding by the side of one of the out-buildings!
Bay View is very well equipped, the Kitchen Diner has a large dining table and plenty of plates, cups and glasses as well as a wine fridge. Both TVs have all the Sky channels and the Games Room has a Pool Table and an Arcade style games machine. The Silverdale/Arnside Area is a bit off the beaten track, but that makes it all the more peaceful and quirky.
We are already talking about our return and would recommend it to any type of group: couples or families would find it equally suitable for a get together.
Thoroughly recommended.

The Ideal family house
We had the best weekend! The house has everything you could want for a family weekend away. The views are stunning. We’re booking again for next year.

Amazing house rain or shine
We stayed at bay view for new years. It’s an amazing house with amazing views. Although the weather was not kind to us the house was great for this with lots to do. There are lots of extras at this house which is a lovely touch. Lots of rooms for people to go and have a chill in, as well as enough space for everyone to be together.

Party house for friends and family
I am going to have to keep this short and sweet, because otherwise I would be writing an essay of how fabulous this house is. You cannot possibly ask for anything else in a place to stay with friends and family it has absolutely everything that you can possibly think of and more and more
A few examples of how fabulous this house is
Hot tub, absolutely fantastic grounds, so much space for children and adults alike so many rooms to choose from so I’ve seen it such a good location to get to other places from and I wonderful space to be able to have a large family and friends get together a big thank you to Jules, who is most helpful and very friendly
It’s so nice, we have stayed here every year since 2018 and yes, we have booked a game for next year

About the neighborhood
The historic villages of Arnside and Silverdale sit on the coastline of Morecambe Bay in a spot that’s been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty thanks to its rich diversity of habitats and wildlife. Its deciduous woodlands, limestone grasslands and coastal salt marshes are enclosed by low limestone hills creating a perfect environment for rare butterflies and marshland birds.
The house is located just to the back of Eves Wood. The Eaves Wood hillside consists largely of ancient and undisturbed woodlands.
