About the neighborhood
Located between Canterbury (9 miles) a World Heritage site and Sandwich (3 miles) said to be the best preserved medieval town in England, you will find we are conveniently situated to enjoy the many attractions and places of interest that Kent offers and within easy reach of numerous award winning beaches. Equally, being 20/30 minutes from the Channel ports and tunnel, a day in France can add to your holiday enjoyment. There are extensive walks on our doorstep (we are close to the Saxon Shore Way and Stour Valley Walk) and close to many golf courses including the famous Royal St.George’s at Sandwich which hosted The Open in 2003 and 2011. Local shops and pubs can be found in the pretty village of Ash, 1.5 miles away and a wider range of shopping and leisure facilities can be found in San...
How to get there
Turn off the A257 onto Knell Lane. Follow the lane for about a mile until you reach a give way sign (road to the right has right of way). Carry on over, and follow the lane around to the left passing a house on your right. You will pass another house and an orchard on your right. Corner Drove is on the right hand side, at the end of the orchard. You will see the Hawthorn Farm sign in front of the hedge. Turn right onto Corner Drove (it's a farm track, so please drive very slowly) the farm entrance is a few metres on the left hand side. Once inside the farm gate, take the first fork on the left to a small car parking area, and Foxglove Cottage.
