A great late Victorian terraced house built for atrisans/ craftsmen working in the docks and their families

The property has recently been redecorated and has a separate kitchen and lounge to the rear of the house, with patio doors to the patio garden and a front room currently offered as a large downstairs bedroom with double bed. Upstairs you will find 3 further double bedrooms with pine beds. Bedding & towels are provided for your stay.

There is a bathroom with shower over upstairs and a downstairs WC with a shower, but quite restricted access


We can also provide by request a full height airbed for the lounge to make it available for up to 7 people, although please bear in mind that there is only one bathroom & WC

The property is a typical student let home but good value for price, was clean and tidy and pet friendly. not far from the seafront with plenty shops and restaurants around the corner. Dogs loved it. Garden needed mowed. I would use this property again

The location is great - easy walk to the sea and all attractions, even easier to get to the local pub which is immediately opposite! Bus stops accessible and range of supermarkets / eateries just at bottom of road. Street parking but generally a space...More

The key thing that is missing from the description is that this is a student let property during University term time. This is plainly evident in the furnishings, lack of minor repairs on the property, and the fact that there is a cork board in...More

By train the nearest station is Fratton. Arriving by road, at the end of the M275 take the first exit, then at the next roundabout, take the second exit. At the next roundabout again take the second exit, you should be passing a texaco petrol station and a large Asda. At the lights go straight ahead (right hand lane). At the next roundabout, take the first exit but go into the right hand lane immediately. At the next roundabout- about 150 mtrs away, take the third exit. You are now in Fawcett Rd, Southseas answer to Portabello rd, complete with second hand shops, speed bumps & 20mph speed limit.
