Location, Location Location: This Victorian building (Onslow Villa) is located in the very heart of Southsea in a residential conservation area which is just 300m from both Southsea Common and the shops, bars and restaurants of Palmerston and Osborne road. Albert road and King's theatre are only 500m away, while the isle of weight Hovercraft is only a 10 min walk away.

The duplex apartment/maisonette has recently been refurbished. On the upper ground floor can be found the kitchen diner, living room, bathroom, laundry cupboard, side porch with entrance. This is a great converted villa in a central location within walking distance of the seafront, (South parade pier, Clarence pier), as well as the shops and restaurants on Palmerston road. The interior is spacious and modern, the villa has everything you need, and is a relaxing place to stay in between sightseeing. The owner is very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful time in Southsea and the house was perfect for our family! Very close to the shops, restaurants and Hovercraft for a trip to the Isle of Wight. Would definitely book again whenever we plan to revisit the Portsmouth area!

By car: The easiest approach is via the eastern road (A2030) off the M27/A27. Follow the eastern road all the way down (~2.7 miles) until you get to the cross roads with Milton road (There is a blinds shop on the left hand corner of this junction and you can see the flood lights for the football stadium ahead of you). Turn left here onto the Milton road. Follow the Milton road (~1.1 miles), which turns into Eastney road (A288) down past the shops at Eastney, across the small roundabout onto Cromwell road. Follow this short windy road until you come to a T junction with the sea in front of you. Turn right here onto the Esplanade.
