This 'chocolate box' cottage is full of charm and original features. It can sleep up to 6 people in 3 double rooms. One of these doubles can be split to make a twin room.
No. 8, The Square is located in a prominent position right in the heart of what is often voted the most picturesque village in the Cotswolds. For a fine dining experience, the Lords of the Manor Hotel is situated across the square. Lower Slaughter is just minutes away. Here you can enjoy fine food and local ales in the cosy atmosphere at The Slaughters Country Inn.

Upper Slaughter is close to the historic market towns of Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Moreton in Marsh which offer a wealth of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions.
This self catering cottage has been lovingly restored to a very high standard by its owners. Facilities include fully fitted kitchen, smart TV, Wi-Fi, iPod dock, log burner, parking and a quaint cottage garden (south facing). Also a small courtyard area to the rear of the cottage that forms part of the square.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen/diner, a spacious living room, morning room, one bedroom complete with en suite facilites with walk in shower. On the first floor there are two further bedrooms and a family bathroom with bath shower.
There was 3 of us that stayed at this cottage from the 1st June 22 for 4 nights, it is in a lovely place of beauty and tranquillity, the cottage is very spacious and comfortable inside, it is in a great location for you to visit a lot of places in the cotswolds and no where is too far to get too, I would recommend this cottage.

Delightful cottage
We have enjoyed a great few days here with friends. The cottage is so cosy and has everything you need. Would certainly recommend for exploring the surrounding Cotswold villages

Beautiful cottage
Had a wonderful stay in a beautiful cottage in an exquisite location. Close to some excellent attractions eg Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle.

Absolutely perfect. Can't wait to go back
Beautiful quiet area. Lovely to just walk around the villages. There were six of us including my two adult sons and we were all in love with the place. It's close to Burton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold which are also beautiful. Highly recommend the Plough at nearby Ford to eat.

Delightful cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds
We have just returned from spending New Year at No. 8 The Square and would highly recommend this cottage. The location is great and close to so many Cotswold attractions. A much appreciated touch was that the cottage was decorated for Christmas which made it feel very welcoming.

We highly recommend No 8 The Square. The cottage has lots of character and is fully equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We were welcomed with a delightful Lemon Curd Cake (our favorite) and a friendly neighbour who gave us some tips on what locations to visit. The location itself is perfect for walks and bike-trips, and the surrounding villages are well worth a visit. Thanks for making our stay a success!

Gorgeous cottage and great location in the Slaughters.
Lovely interiors, with sparklingly clean kitchen, cosy lounge and charming bedrooms.

Cosy cottage.
My friend and I had a lovely break post Christmas festivities.The Cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Cotswolds with all the home comforts you would need,Micheal made booking/payment extremely easy and we had the pleasure of meeting David and his wife on departure.We would recommend no.8 to anyone it's simply delightful. The Slaughter Manor ,in lower Slaughter, is well worth a visit for afternoon tea and is only a short drive away .

Beautiful, spacious, quirky, home from home stay in an excellent location
You've seen the chocolate box type cottage you thought only existed in adverts, well this is a chance to live in one. Very tasteful fully mod con delightful stay in a stunning part of the English countryside. Lovely walks, very friendly people. Upper and Lower Slaughter are amazing.
