It has been described as one of the most unique and attractive holiday houses anywhere in the Cotswolds, and has won the ‘Best Holiday Cottage in the Cotswolds’ award in 2015 and 2017. It has had extensive modern updates, but has still retained some original features, such as the oak flooring. Downstairs has a living room with an open fire, fitted kitchen with a dining area. Inside there is a games room, complete with a pool table and a dart board. There is ample off street parking and is the property is located close to a train station. Cotswold House is the ideal property for friend and family celebrations. Amenities: Heating with open fires. AGA with three hot plates, 4 ovens, frdge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. TV with BT Vision, BluRay DVD, surround sound system, WiFi. PS4, Snooker/pool table, dart board and other games. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and laundry inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Sorry, no smoking and no BBQs. Rear enclosed garden. Off road parking for 5 or 6 cars. Shop and pub 0.1 miles. Note: 10 can be accommodated comfortably around the dining table in the dining room (additional seating is available in the kitchen).Note: There is an Italian Caterer available for hire, please contact the owner to arrange. Note: Sorry, no hens, stags or similar. Note: Well behaved Dogs are welcome at the property, at an additional charge of £50 per pet. Travel cot provided but not mattress or bedding. First floor bathroom 2 steps down & 2 steps back up from bedroom so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Region: Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area. Town: The Saxon market town of Moreton-in-Marsh lies on the Fosse Way Roman Road in the northern Cotswolds and boasts many elegant 18th century buildings, which are home to traditional inns, serving real ales and home-cooked food, tea rooms, restaurants and individual shops to suit all tastes. It also boasts it's own train station and lies on the intersection of the Paddington rail line from London. The town hosts the Moreton-In-Marsh Show, one of the UK's largest one-day agricultural shows, as well as the Moreton Beer Festival, an annual French Market, and a large outdoor market every Tuesday.
