We had a wonderful weekend. The grand-children played with the lovely toys and loved going swimming. Everyone enjoyed the canoe and walking around the reserve. We self catered two days and had everything we needed. The Baker’s Arms was good for Sunday Lunch.

We had an excellent weekend break, thank you and many thanks for the welcome chocolates. What a stunning view from the balcony. The house was perfect for our teaching based family and they all have said what a fantastic start to their half term holiday. The use of the Canoe was a brilliant extra bonus which the family made full use of and had a great time. My wife was celebrating her birthday over the weekend and she thoroughly enjoyed the time with all the family around her.

We had a superb May bank hol at daisy chain cottage! It is a beautiful setting right on the lake and we made lots of use of the balcony having morning tea and evening drinks out there! The house is brilliantly set up for families with all you need. We loved the 2hr mouse trail with the kids cracking codes to unlock real treasure chests on route! A great way to explore the lakes. The ballihoo had super good for lunch and dinner and we had caterers one night then walked to the bakers arms pub the next. The outdoor play areas and football / tennis courts were well used by our family as was the pool!! It meg all of our requirements and we had such a special time celebrating my mums 70th. Daisy chain and the estate have everything you need so makes it a really easy and enjoyable holiday . We would definitely return :-)

The views, where do I start?! I rented this property to get ready in before my wedding and it was gorgeous, the house was a perfect size for my bridal party and lovely and clean. Naomi was quick to answer questions and very helpful. Only thing is with a full house we ran out of toilet paper in a day! Thank you!

We stayed in the property to celebrate a grandparents birthday. We were all wowed by the amazing view as we walked into the property. Such a beautiful location and the most well equipped house I have stayed in. The children were kept entertained by the numerous toys, games and dvds on a wet afternoon. Ideal for families with young children as absolutely everything you can think of that you need is there for you to use and beautiful surroundings to explore. We will definitely be revisiting but with a lot less in the car as we know how well equipped the property is. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Daisy Chain in Sept 2016, with 6 adults, 3 young children and 1 baby. The house was great for us all - the grandparents had their own peaceful room and bathroom to escape to upstairs! The kids had loads of toys to play with, which kept them v busy! And the fact that we didn't need to bring baby equipment was fab, with the provision of a cot, high chair, blackout blind, bath mats, changing mat. The kitchen is so well equipped with more you could ever need and even plastic for the little ones. What struck me most about the house was the view! It's breathtaking. And every time of day and weather provides a different version of the view! We enjoyed using the spa swimming pools, inside and out, and us women had a few minutes in the sauna! We had a good meal in the restaurant onsite - Ballyhoo. Service on our particular night was slow but I think this was out of the ordinary. The food was great and the kids could play in the adjacent playground while we waited with a glass of wine! Taking out the canoe on the lake was a highlight; so peaceful and beautiful. And we did the miss mouse adventure trail with the kids - great way to tire them out, exploring and learning, although it's a bit further than we expected with 3 year old complainers! We also biked a bit in the area, but ran out of time to try out the tennis unfortunately! A really lovely weekend in a great (and spacious) house, on a well kept and friendly estate, and I suspect we'll be back!

Thank you for your kind words. Daisy Chain is a perfect home for grandparents, parents and grandchildren to share. Enough space for everyone to relax and so much for everyone to enjoy! We're so pleased you found all the 'family kit' useful. It's so much easier to have it at Daisy Chain rather than having to arrive with an overflowing car. We make sure our guests know what they will find at Daisy Chain so they really can save on packing. So glad you managed some time out in the canoe too - it's always so peaceful on the water. We look forward to welcoming you back again one day.

Beautiful house, unbelievably well equipped. Felt a million miles away from the day to day drudge. Before we'd even finished the holiday I was figuring out in my mind how we could get back there again soon. A unique holiday experience. My daughter (14) remarked it was better than all the foreign holidays we have been on.

Daisy Chain provided an excellent base for our extended family gathering. The house is modern and well equipped plus it had lots of childrens toys that kept my nephew and nieces entertained for hours! The estate felt very safe and we enjoyed making use of the pool and spa facilities. Bike hire was straightforward and it was easy to explore the local area. We are already discussing retuning in the summer.

We're so pleased you had such a lovely stay at Daisy Chain and that the children enjoyed all the toys. By providing lots of toys and equipment for under 5's we aim to make the holiday that much more relaxing for the grown ups! Lovely to hear that you explored on bikes as well...and of course enjoyed the Spa. We hope to welcome you back again next year.

When we checked into this gem each one of our family of 9 had a smile on our faces. I’m a perfectionist, so I really appreciate when I encounter someone who also takes equal pride and pains in achieving high standards. Daisy Chain is truly a superbly equipped, well maintained property and we would highly recommend it to anybody wanting to take a holiday in this beautiful part of England. The owners obviously seem to be themselves using the property occasionally, and that probably explains why it seems immaculately served to visiting guests. The shared heated pool, steam, sauna & gym were icing on the cake and we enjoyed using the facilities, which I must say were maintained to very high standards with a very friendly staff making us feel comfortable. The location of the property overlooking the lake is just breathtaking. We did not have small children with us, but we did see that the property had enough to engage the young ones too. Initially we did find the heating a little cold for our liking and made a quick phone call to the owner Naomi (who lives in another town). She immediately responded by turning up the heating from her location. One car could be parked at the property and another in the spill over parking 2 minutes away. Wished we had stayed longer. Would not even blink once before staying there again in the near future. These are 5 deserving stars I would gladly give away anytime.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Daisy Chain so much. We love watching guests faces when they see the views from the living room across the lake! You're right, we do use the property ourselves which enables us to ensure that everything is kept to a high standard. We love spending time at Daisy Chain with our young family and sharing it with others too. We hope to be able to welcome you back for another Cotswold Family Holiday soon.
