Undercliff cottage is ideally situated in the centre of the beautiful town of Rye, opposite Strand Quay and a few hundred yards from the famous Mermaid Street. The whole town is accessible by foot and there are numerous pubs, restaurants, shops and historical buildings right on your doorstep. The stunning beach and dunes at Camber Sands are just a few minutes drive from the cottage. There is also plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas of Kent and Sussex.<BR>Beautifully furnished and surprisingly spacious, with a kitchen/diner, lounge and 3 bedrooms, the cottage is ideal for families or couples sharing. The pretty secluded cliff side garden with outdoor eating area is perfect for alfresco dining whilst the wood burning stove in the lounge makes for lovely cosy nights in.<BR>

We had a brilliant stay,was just right as in laws not too good on walking too far,could go out and walk along harbour or to the shops with no hassle. Lots of independent shops around which were that bit different. Cottage was just right,cosy and comfortable with all we needed, TV was a challenge ,but we got there,taking us 20min...

We stayed here for two weeks visiting family, and using it a a launching point to travel to London, Dover, Hastings and Eastbourne. Highly recommend as we had seven of us here. Two small children, two teenagers, and three adults. Well stocked with all you need for a home away from home, and the owners were lovely to work with....

Stayed here in June 2014. Cottage is small, only suitable for families and not sharing couples as it's not big enough. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for self catering, and we travelled with our 10 month old son, and they supplied travel cot and high chair which was excellent. Built in the 1820's, the cottage retains much of its period charm along with the necessities of modern living. The accommodation is on 2 levels and is entered via the side gate and courtyard and through a stable door into the kitchen/dining area. The beautiful fully fitted Farrow and Ball painted kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge and all the pans/crockery you will need for self catering. This charming room also has a table and chairs for cosy family meals.<BR>The lounge has a wood burning stove and feature beams, television/DVD, a comfortable vintage ercol sofa and leather club chairs.
