The Chapel Townhouse is a beautiful one bedroom townhouse, hidden in the heart of central Brighton, affording you the privacy of your own home with the romance, style and grandeur of the best luxury hotels. Described by guests as 'too good to tell anyone about', 'honestly, the BEST place I have ever stayed in Brighton!', 'outrageously cool, perfectly located and really delivers the 'wow' factor' and '100 times better than a hotel'. Dating back to 1876, the Chapel is hidden along a private Victorian mews, accessible through private electric entry gates. The Chapel is located in a quiet residential mews and guests must respect our neighbours by keeping noise when outside the property to a minimum. Smoking is also not permitted either inside the Chapel Townhouse or along our mews. Guests who wish to smoke should do so outside the electric entry gates on Church Street. Guests are not permitted to drive or park along our mews. The Chapel Townhouse has a strict maximum of two guests and parties are not allowed.

Interaction with guests: You will have the property to yourselves for the entire duration of your stay but I live a few minutes walk away if needed. In terms of access, there are no keys to worry about and there's no need to meet me before your stay - access is via personalised entry codes specific to your stay, making check in and check out completely flexible and hassle free.

About the neighborhood
Hidden along a private mews in the heart of Brighton's cultural quarter, just off Church Street, the Chapel Townhouse is directly opposite Brighton Dome and Corn Exchange and moments from Brighton's famous Pavilion Gardens estate and the Theatre Royal. The Chapel Townhouse is also in the midst of the famous lanes and North Laine areas, packed with the best independent boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. Brighton pier and seafront is half a mile away and both Kemptown and Hove are within walking distance. You really couldn't wish for a better location.

How to get there
Although there is no guest parking at the Chapel Townhouse, or along our mews, the Brighton Theatre NCP car park is just a three minute walk along Church Street. For guest loading and unloading, we have a loading bay directly opposite the Chapel Townhouse on Church Street outside Brighton Dome. Brighton train station is half a mile away with trains to London Victoria / London Bridge (sometimes) taking as little as 50 minutes. Taxi's are also relatively affordable in Brighton and a few pounds will get you to most places in the city. To discover it's best hidden gems, Brighton is however, best explored on foot and we recommend leaving the car at home. Gatwick airport is 30 minutes away, either by taxi or direct train to Brighton station.
