Homely, quaint, quiet cottage
Location is actually ideal, about 30-40 minutes walk from Brighton but I am sure you could get a bus in a few minutes. 4 of us stayed here and it was fine, there is a steep ladder to climb so just to be mindful of any small kids/older folk. Such lovely finish of the cottage and the host went out of their way to make us feel welcome with tea, milk and chocolate bars left for us. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful Cottage
I booked this very last minute and everything that we could have asked for was there. The accommodation was in the perfect location and close to the bus stop to catch a bus into the centre. I also took my dog with me and there was a local dog park that wasn’t far where you could let them off as the area was enclosed. The cottage was beautiful and well equipped and every little detail had been thought of, the hosts were very friendly. I would definitely return

Beautiful/Quaint/lovely host/perfect
I only stayed for 1 night for a work appointment in this little wonderful garden cottage. I was comfortable/warm and very relaxed. So much so that I have booked a personal visit to stay one night with my dog Gem (£20 extra for your dog). it is near to parks and the enclosed garden is ideal. lovely little touches with the fresh ground coffee and croissants. Mike helped me in with my luggage (I never travel light!) The heating was already on for me and lovely throws on the sofa made it so cosy. what a delight.

Great location
In a lovely, quiet residential area, but with easy access for the bus into the city if you don't fancy the walk. The cottage had everything we needed and we appreciated the fresh milk and croissants on arrival. Layout is well organised with plenty of space for the two of us plus our dog and we had a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable week. Hosts Mike and Sonia were friendly yet unobtrusive and gave us great local recommendations.

Holiday in August 2018
The cottage is in the grounds of the house, but you never feel overlooked in anyway and thus feel totally comfortable. We loved the picket fence around the cottage so our dog was in a secure and safe environment. It was quite tight inside for two adults and two children and no where to escape, but there were plenty of sleeping options with two double beds and a sofa bed and a futon. Quite a lot of the plates and mugs had chips in them and we felt the cottage was starting to look a bit tired and needed some time and work spent on it to bring it up to a better standard - this let the cottage down which is a real shame as it has huge potential. We loved only being 10 minutes from the railway station as it was so easy to get into Brighton, the parking was great and it’s also so close to the ring road so you can visit other places. The supermarket was only 10 minutes away which was great and Withdean Park was great for the dog. With a few changes it could be very good / excellent.

This is a great little place to stay for a night out in Brighton, the train station is just a 10 minute walk from the cottage and it’s only 4 minutes on the train. Fabulous little touches like fresh croissants, tea, coffee milk etc. I would highly recommend.

Lovely Brighton hideaway
We stayed at this gorgeous little cottage last weekend - and after an extra long journey we arrived to a fridge with milk, croissants, prosecco and bread (with nutella, a big thumbs up from our daughter!). It was such a wonderful thought as it saved us going back out at 10pm to try and find breakfast. The cottage was clean and cosy and the perfect retreat to come back to after the hustle and bustle of Brighton. We enjoyed "The Lanes" and the pier itself and there are some great independent cafe's and shops to support. We will be returning in the future !
