The Tudors is a large, Grade II listed, Victorian villa in Torquay, Devon. Located in the quiet, residential Meadfoot area of Torquay, it is 200 metres from the harbour and yacht marina. Good sandy beaches are a 10 minute walk, shops, restaurants and pubs are just a 2 minute walk down the hill. Local amenities include a theatre, cinemas, leisure centre (indoor pool), public gardens, tennis courts, pitch and putt (plus proper golf course) and it’s own Conference football team.

Set in its own grounds and spread over 3 floors, the Tudors accommodates 14 guests. Plenty of space for everybody to get together in the lounges, dining room and the garden terrace or to enjoy quiet time in the spacious bedrooms, some of which have...

The house is spacious, well equipped and full of atmosphere. It provided ample space for our party of 8 adults and four children. With four large downstairs rooms, we could all be together, or split up into smaller groups when wanted. The house is very well equipped. The garden is small, but sunny and sheltered. The Tudors is very close...

How to get there
Airport: Exeter: 19.9 mi
Railway: Torquay: 1.2 mi
Ferry: Plymouth: 26.1 mi
The Tudors is easily reached by motorway and then dual carriageway to within 5 miles of the house. The M5 will take you to Exeter and then the A380 brings you into Torquay. Follow the signs to the Seafront and once there follow the promenade round towards the harbour until you get to the clock tower roundabout just after Debenhams on the left. Take the first turning off the roundabout up Torwood street and then right at the traffic lights (by Sim a Spice) onto Meadfoot Road. Follow the road up the hill and the Tudors is 150m on the right side, it is best to drive past and then make a U turn at the Linscombe Hotel turn off to allow an easier access up the drive.

Torquay is also well served by rail. Newton Abbott main line station has high speed links to the rest of the country only 12km aw...
