My family and I really enjoyed our week at Jubilee cottage. There were 4 of us and our dog and we all didn't want to come home. The cottage itself was just the right size for the 4 of us and the log burner at night was a lovely addition, made it feel really warm and cozy. The kids and...

Found purely by chance. What a great find it is. Plenty space for 2 adults and 2 children plus one dog, huge enclosed gardens. The view is stunning and there is a lovely pub within driving distance. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a wood fire however the cottage is so warm it wasn't needed. We had the doors...

Just returned from a wonderful week staying in the charming Jubilee cottage at Greengill Holidays in Morland, which is perfectly situated between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. it is very rare that holiday accommodation lives up to expectation, but in this case it totally did. The cottage was very clean, tastefully decorated and well equiped, the fresh cut garden...

Additional Rate and Availability Information
Jubilee Cottage has a double sofa bed in the living room. This could be used by parents, while the king size bed in the bedroom can be divided into two singles for children. It is not really big enough for four adults, as it would be a squeeze round the table. Acceptable for a weekend, but not recommended for a week. It is fine for a couple and one extra adult.

Morland is very handy for the M6 motorway. Leave at Junction 39 (Shap) from the south, and Junction 40 (Penrith) from the north, both are 8 miles, 12 minutes away. Morland is also easy from the A66 from the A1 and Scotch Corner. Take the first left after the end of the Appleby bypass, signed to Bolton and Cliburn. After passing through Bolton, take the next left and then right to Morland.
Use postcode CA10 3AX.

In Morland village look for the road to Great Strickland, Strickland Road. Greengill is the last place in the village on the right about 250 yards from the junction.

Morland is also 8 miles (12-15 minutes) from Penrith station, which is only 3 hours from London Euston.
