Chic and Charming
The cottage is ideally situated right near the quay, and near the Tate/Hepworth sadly of course closed. It has been thoughtfully and very tastefully furnished in whites and pale grays. Also happily devoid of all the seaside kitsch which is usual for cottages by the sea! Happily recommend it to friends.

Review
The cornish cottage is a lovely place to stay. Its decorated to a high standard and is very cosy. Its perfectly placed for the harbour and beaches and the ships restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend a stay here. The cottage is quite small and compact which was fine for us but i think anyone tall would struggle as the ceiling downstairs is very low.The only little niggles we had were that we were told we couldn't check in until 5pm on arrival due to covid and had to check out at 9am on departure which meant we had a whole day wasted. Also we were told to contact the owner 20 minutes before arrival which we did however we were not able to get through to her on the phone. Fortunately we had met her mum when we were parling the car so after half an hour we went to speak to her to see if she knew how we could get hold of her. This was a little annoying as we had travelled 400 miles to get there and were quite keen to start our holiday. Other than that everything was great.

A most relaxing and comfortable stay in a lovely cottage.
The Cornish Cottage was immaculent, cosy and perfectly situated for a wonderful holiday in Cornwall. We enjoyed every day here in St Ives despite the rainy days that beset us. The cottage is surrounded by places to see, restaurants to eat at and pubs for a drink. We used public transport to explore further afield. Thank you Ylena for sharing your beautiful cottage.

Fantastic little cottage in great location with perfect hostess!
My partner and I stayed at the cottage for 4 days during June. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage very much and are looking forward to visiting and staying again next year! I’ve also recommended it to all our family and friends.
Ylenia was easy to get hold of and made sure we knew where we were going. She helpfully sent us a photo and directions of where to park the car (no parking by the cottage, only drop off for luggage).
The cottage itself has been exceptionally well furnished and was perfect for the two of us. It is situated 5 minutes walk from the harbour (almost at the bottom of the hill) and the centre of St Ives. If you’re looking for a comfy and simple base to set off from and come back to after a day spent exploring, this is ideal.
The car parking space is free but it is a decent 10 minute walk from the cottage and you do need to walk all the way up the hill but the views are worth it! My suggestion would be to arrive at the cottage as early as possible on your first day, if driving, because the streets are extremely narrow and get very busy during the day with tourists and sight seers.
There are plenty of independent restaurants and bars which are all well worth a visit, the best of which are situated one street behind the harbour. There is also a great coastal walk from St Ives to Zennor with a handy bus back to St Ives every quarter to the hour. The pub at the end of the walk serves a brilliant fish and chips!

Anniversary get away
My husband booked the accommodation which I had no idea for our 2nd wedding anniversary . Rocking up we were greeted by Ylenia who was warm, friendly but non intrusive. Walking in we were instantly impressed the cottage has been furnished to a high standard with carefully thought out well placed storage and decor. The is a small but efficient kitchen with all cutlery, cookware and bits one needs including toaster and microwave. Again all good quality. Fresh flowers were placed on table and a lovely touch. Upstairs again more carefully considered storage enough for a few days or longer. The bed was comfy and had gorgeous sheets we sunk into! The only thing we would perhaps say and probably because we are tall the double was a tad small BUT really not something to put people off. The bathroom too was finely kitted out with silent shut toilet sheet and decent shower. All these touches including the blinds and co-ordinated decor demonstrate the care in the cottage . The location was incredible although not with sea view was a stones throw away from the bustling streets and beach ( 5mins). There is no parking but that’s really not uncommon or desperately
Needed. So overall massively recommend, well kept, managed and comfortable.

Small but perfectly formed
Idyllic , compact cottage , modernised to a high standard. Lovely and warm , hot water and no musty smell as is the case with so many rentals. Ideally placed for all St .ives has to offer. Beautiful cream tea awaiting us on arrival :-)

Cosy, homely and excellent location.
This was our second stay at the cottage. Excellent location, right in the middle of St Ives. Excellent restaurants, pubs and beach all within 5 mins walk. Cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. Home from home.
