Location is ideal. Bus stop just over the road. Close to main drag and harbour. Plenty of eating places and pubs. Great coastal walks to Talland bay and on to Looe. Also to Polruan and ferry to Fowey.

Situated at the top of the road down into Polperro, but with its own parking space (a total result for Polperro) this cottage is absolutely gorgeous. It's only designed for two as there's just a single room downstairs and then bedroom & bathroom upstairs. Kitchen is well appointed, for those who want to self cater (we decided that pampering was the order and so breakfasted at The Plantation and dined at The Kitchen and Couch's, all three superb). Have to give a special mention to the shower as, although it suffers from water pressure as do many in Cornwall, the enclosure is large enough to turn around and ry yourself off in, a rarity in most self catering cottages. A thoroughly enjoyable few days and well recommended.

Thank you so much for looking after and leaving the cottage so nicely, and for your super review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your break in Polperro, and it's great to hear that you also made the most of the fabulous culinary delights in resort. (I'm yet to try a Plantation Breakfast .... But it's on my to do list this month!) We hope to see you back in the future. Best wishes Victoria Crumplehorn Cottages

Booked 1 crumplehorn cottages as it had the advantage of a car park space and ideal for 2 people. It did not disappoint, as we used it for a base to sleep and shower unless it rained when we stayed in. We found the cottage was well equipped for 2 people. Wifi was perfect till the last 24 hours when for some reason it went off. Possibly work being done in the area and as it was our last day we coped without it. However please note it’s not strong enough for streaming purposes and although this is noted in the documentation in the cottage but not in the online advert. The only other constructive comment I would like to suggest is that an additional couple of hooks in the bathroom would be useful to hang towels on. Or it’s necessary to use the clothes maiden in the bedroom which we didn’t find ideal. The shower was one of the best electric showers I’ve ever used and it was a walk in shower with plenty of space. There is the Crumplehorn pub within 50 metres where you can buy meals etc. There are also numerous eating establishments in Polperro approximately 10 minutes walk downhill from the cottage many of which have fresh locally caught fish on the menu. Also immediately opposite the cottage is the bus stop where you can catch the bus to Looe amongtall other places

The cottage is at the head of the entrance into Polperro, which we prefer for a quieter location. There is an excellent pub just across the road offering tasty food not to mention the vast choice of eateries and bars in the village itself. The beach is in the harbour area and there is a constant flow of happy holiday makers. This is a great walking area for those with dogs and it has a really good bus service for those who want to leave the car behind, as we did.

Cottage was good although some work needed on bathroom which was cramped due cabinet on floor that I would suggest be swapped for a beneath basin fitting or wall mounting. Otherwise very clean and tidy with very comfortable bed. Off street parking was a great bonus and cottage was handy for bus stop. Recommendations for pubs and restaurants. The Kitchen. Good food at reasonable prices and freshly made. The Blue Peter great beer and atmosphere and for the blowout the Nelson excellent food. A great week was had and we will revisit.

Thank you so much for looking after and leaving the cottage so nicely, and for the good review. We have closed the cottage during October for work on the bathroom, as we had an unexpected flood this season - So are currently looking at alternative bathroom suites. Great tips on the eateries in resort for future guests - Thank you. We hope to see you back sometime in the future. Best wishes Victoria Crumplehorn Cottages

We had a fantastic week in the beautiful village of Polperro in this lovely cottage. The position is excellent with a coveted parking space just opposite a pub with lots of outdoor seating. The walk into Polperro is a 5 minute stroll and it is so peaceful to sit and watch the world go by. The Smuggler’s Museum is well worth a visit. The cottage is very well equipped - no complaints!

This cottage is lovely, cosy and a few minutes walk to Polperro harbour. Nice pubs and restaurants. Our favourite was the Three Pilchards, food excellent and the Blue Peter was also good. Covid measures in place all around the village were well executed, even though sometimes you had to wait. Visited Looe and Fowey. Looe was busier than Polperro, harder to avoid people. Fowey was lovely. Weather was a bit mixed, but we had a relaxing week.
