If you’re looking for peace and quiet, surrounded by lovely Cornish countryside - this is your place! Watching wildlife and birds sitting on the patio overlooking a lovely view with a glass of wine is just heaven! Fantastic accommodation, well equipped kitchen, with everything you could possibly want. Comfy bed and lovely shower room. The owners, Julie and Alan, couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a wonderful stay, highly recommended and very envious of all who stay there!

This is our second visit to The Granary and it was just as amazing as the 1st time. Julie and Alan have thought of everything to make your stay a perfect and comfortable one. A lovely cream tea and bouquet of flowers on arrival was a real treat. The cottage is surrounded by scenic countryside and is a real gem of tranquility. You can watch the wildlife in the fields from the comfort of the comfy sofas while looking out of the double doors. As for the cottage the kitchen has everything you need and is well organised. One of my favourite parts of the cottage is the wet shower after a day out sightseeing, it was lovely to stand under the big shower head. As The Granary is 10-15minutes walk to the train station you have easy access to Truro and Falmouth which means you can leave the car at the cottage. We would highly recommend The Granary for its luxury, peacefulness, it's great location to go out to see the sights and the great value for money. Many thanks to Julie and Alan for everything and we look forward to returning again in the future.

The Granary is exactly like the pictures, only even better in real life. Everything is thought of, everything is comfortable, the location is wonderful. We spent lots of time just admiring the views from the terrace, enjoying the peace and quiet. We wanted a place to relax and to recharge and the Granary helped us to do just that. Julie and Alan are wonderful hosts, a cream tea was waiting for us when we arrived, there were beautiful fresh flowers, everything was inviting. We cannot recommend the Granary enough and hope to come back soon. There are lovely places to see and visit as well, we especially liked Glendurgan Gardens and the beach at Holywell Bay.

The Granary was every bit as lovely as it looked in the photos and was in fact bigger than we expected. There were some really lovely welcoming touches. The kitchen had all the appliances you'd need and there were plenty of books and mags to read. The location was very peaceful and quiet with a field full of rabbits to keep us entertained while we sat on the patio. The train station is only about 10 mins walk away and there's a friendly pub called the Royal Oak serving food in Nearby Perranwell station. The Granary was absolutely spotless and the perfect base for our holiday. We were really sad to leave but will definitely be back!

The Granary exceeded our expectations, even after reading the on-line reviews. Set in its own good sized plot, at the end of a private drive, it has open views over the countryside. It is secluded, but without being remote. The village is a few minutes away, as is the owner's farmhouse. There are a couple of neighbouring houses a few hundred yards away, but not within sight. The spacious accommodation was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are laid out well and equipped to a high standard. Julie and Alan have evidently paid a lot of attention to detail in making the Granary a first class holiday let, and my wife and I felt very welcome and relaxed throughout our stay.

The cottage is very stylish and cosy, it could be an example of a 'country living' journal. Very modern kitchen and bathroom, very well equiped. It is perfectly situated on the countryside with no neighbours except a horse and a monkey which like to be fed with apples and carrots. We can recommend this cottage very much and compliments to July and Alan who could keep this high standard over the last years. We are looking forward to return - like many other guests who have been there for many times.

Owner response... thank you for the lovely review, I must point out to all who read this, that there is a horse and a DONKEY in the field beside, not a Monkey !!! and they both still do love apples and carrots !! :)

We have returned to the Granary year after year as we always come home feeling refreshed and wanting to return. It is ideally situated between both coast; there is a lovely pub serving delicious food and a village shop both within walking distance, yet you are in a beautiful field surrounded by wildlife. Imagine soaking in a warm bath with a baby rabbit grazing just outside your window! The conversion has been very well done and the Granary has everything you could possibly need.

This is my third stay at The Granary and have a further two bookings this year. My husband and I spent Christmas and New Year here and it was magical. I can't fault The Granary in anyway. The place is quietly secluded away from everything apart from the rolling hills and buzzing wildlife. Having said that, both Truro and Falmouth are just a few miles away as are the endless beaches and coastal paths. Within a very short distance you can hire bikes, walk, jog, horse ride or just sit in the coffee shop and watch the world go by! I particularly enjoyed jogging around the area, it's hard to get bored with the challenging hills and amount of public byways. The Granary itself is warm and cosy, all on one level and cleverly designed and equipped to a high standard. The extras such as bath robes, fluffy towels, a mobile phone, fresh flowers and a delicious cream tea awaits your arrival. There is ample parking, outside furniture and a small tasteful water feature set in granite on the patio. The property has sensitive outside lighting to create a real homely feel at night. Telephone signal is excellent and a dongle can serve mobile internet connection should you need it! But why would you?!! A lovely lady near by helped look after my dogs over Christmas! They really enjoyed their B&B for dogs!! The owners are delightful and at hand should you need anything... But you won't. I'm now twitchy in sending this review incase I'm unable to secure future bookings ...! don't hesitate about The Granary, you won't be disappointed. Ann Marie Stratford Upon Avon
