This surprisingly spacious original split-level holiday home, is situated moments from the town centre, with direct pedestrian access from the High Street, or alternatively from Harbour Terrace. The location is a haven for keen yachtsmen with Falmouth's main marina nearby on North Parade, deep water moorings, numerous sailing and rowing clubs, and is just a few minutes' walk along Greenbank from the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club. <BR><BR>Falmouth offers excellent amenities; shops, restaurants, galeries and antique stores are all within a short walk, as well as passenger ferry services from nearby Prince of Wales Pier to Flushing and Saint Mawes and a wide variety of other boat trips. This well appointed apartment that has good secure private parking close to the town centre is clean well equipped and an ideal base for touring around the Falmouth area

2nd week of 3 week stay and everything has been as represented, clean, comfortable, reasonably well appointed, really close to Falmouth centre and easy walking and parking access. Ideal for 2 or 4 , really pleased with our choice and small issues resolved very quickly, would highly recommend Lee Forster (Australia 2536)

The property was entirely refurbished o a high standard for four people in 2011, with the object of making our guests feel comfortable and at home. The apartment is accessed by a stable-type door opening into a superb living/dining area with a timber beamed vaulted ceiling, giving on to a balcony with views down Dunstanville Terrace towards the Greenbank Hotel and a limited view over the estuary. There are two comfortable sofas and and a modern glass-topped dining table with six dining chairs.<BR><BR>The kitchen has been entirely refitted with a slate-effect tiled floor, classic white cabinets and a tastefully tiled splashback around the entire room. Aberfal 'the mouth of the Fal': originally called Peny-cwm-cuic, which later became 'Pennycomequick', it was here that Henry VIII built Pendennis Castle to defend Carrick Roads, in 1540.
