The 'Upper Porth Pennti' apartment is on the first (top) floor of a late Georgian double fronted terraced Falmouth town centre house. Enjoying views to the right; of the inner harbour; across the water to St Mawes castle and then across the water again to the Roseland peninsula. A period property with original features which has been tastefully refurbished in a stylish contemporary design. Includes free Superfast Wifi and 2 x Smart TVs with Freeview and free Netflix movies. Master Bedroom Modern four poster king size bed with twin slated bed bases, king size memory foam mattress, king duvet and quality linen. White painted floorboards. Two Ercol chairs. Antique wardrobe. Vintage lighting. 22 inch Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix. Bose Wave CD stereo alarm clock. Harbour views (to the right) through the original sash window. Adjustable window shutters. Living Room/Second Bedroom Custom designed furniture allows the room to function as either a living room with giant sofa or as a single bedroom with a small sofa or as a twin bedroom or as a super king double bedroom (with twin mattresses and twin duvets). Sprung mattresses with memory foam toppers and quality linen. Anthracite painted floorboards. Open under bed storage, small clothes hanging rail and low level lockable cupboard. 29 inch Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix. Magazines, books and board games. Harbour view (to the right) through the original sash window. Adjustable window shutters. Separate Kitchen/Diner Compact separate kitchen/diner with stainless steel dishwasher, fan oven, microwave and extractor, plus twin ceramic hobs, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. Custom designed (rolling) table and bench & stool seating for four. Well equipped/ready to go with cutlery, crockery, glasses, pots, pans and kitchen utensils, plus essentials to get you started including: washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing up cloths, kitchen roll, tea towels, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, cafetiere, milk and sugar. Harbour views (to the right) through the original sash window. Bathroom Wood panelled bathroom with large bath and large vintage style deluge shower above. Period washstand and mirror. Unique industrial lighting.Original wood flooring. Heated towel rail. Fresh towels, plus essentials to get you started including toilet roll, soap and shampoo. Entrance You enter through the house's main front door into the ground floor entrance hall (shared with the owners who live in the separate ground floor apartment). Here you can leave your outdoor coats and shoes. From the ground floor entrance hall you have your own lockable front door which opens up to the stairs which lead up to your private 'Upper Porth Pennti' apartment. Please Note: There is space to stop and unload your car on the street in-front of the property. There is free on street parking outside and in the surrounding area. We are situated on the hill overlooking the inner harbour/town centre and the most direct/shortest walk to the centre can be quite steep with a number of steps. In addition the stairs up to the first floor apartment are quite narrow. With this in mind the apartment and its location is not suitable for persons with limited mobility or young children. To maximise the space in the compact kitchen/diner the microwave and shelves are quite high and may require a step (provided) to reach them. The harbour view is to your right hand side as you look out of the apartment windows. The view is of the inner harbour, across the water to St Mawes peninsula and then across the water again to the Roseland peninsula. Views to the left hand side and straight ahead from the apartment are of the terrace of houses at the other side of the road. The best harbour views are from the master bedroom. The apartment has its own thermostatically controlled gas central heating with touch button remote control. The owners in the separate ground floor apartment have a very friendly chocolate Labrador dog. The dog never has access to the first floor apartment however she does need to cross the shared ground floor entrance hall to get in and out. The price quoted when you put in your required dates and number of guests includes the cleaning fee and any additional guest charge. Currently we can only accept bookings up to six months in advance. Prices include fresh bed linen and fresh towels. There is also an iron, ironing board and hairdryer in the apartment. More
