'Lazy Dayz' is a one bedroom apartment which is part of our home with it's own separate entrance and patio. It is a bright, modern and spacious accommodation with a full kitchen, lounge and dining area. We are located on the very pretty Glenora Road which is away from the hustle and bustle of Picton Main Street, but only a 2 minutes drive away. There you can enjoy various bars and restaurants such as The Acoustic Grill, The County Canteen, 7Numbers, Hartley's Tavern and 555 Brewing Company. You can explore various Gift shops, Ice-Cream shops, Bakeries ....... the list goes on! Lake on the Mountain and other wineries and breweries are only a short drive away (8 minutes), or you can head to Sandbanks Provincial Park which is only 1...

All the comforts of home plus very hospitable owners.
We were greeted by Michael and shown into the suite. He had left us baked goods, bottled water, munchie and tourist brochures about Prince Edward County. The place was immaculate and had tasteful decor plus all the amenities needed for an extended stay. Ideal location for touring Prince Edward County. Michael was very accommodating and drove us into town as we attended an event with alcohol and didn't want to drive. Cable TV and WiFi was excellent! Shower was great. There is a lot of room for four people to rest and relax. Nice sitting area outside where we watched the sun set. We would return to Lazy Dayz again. Thank-you Michael, you went above and beyond.

Charming, comfortable and in the perfect location
We're so happy we found this place! A great location, walking-distance from the nicest part of downtown Picton, but it feels more like the country with a view to the lake - nice quiet road for early-morning runs. Newly done, thoughtfully laid out, homey, and very clean. Really charming hosts. We appreciated their offer to make up the sofabed for our daughter since we were arriving so late very much. Stocking the fridge with milk and leaving some snacks (loved the local bakery donuts!) were a nice touch too. The kitchen area is great - we'll use it more next time with a longer stay! Comfortable bed, lots of thick towels and a nice big sofa to stretch out on and look at the view - or the cable TV. It was an ideal base for exploring the area and going to Sandbanks beach. We loved it and we will definitely be back!

Great location, beautiful sunsets
We had a great time in the Prince Edward County area and this rental was perfect for our family. There was plenty of space for a family of 4. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets each night. The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. We loved our stay in Picton.

An absolute gem - perfect in every way!
There is nothing not to love about Lazy Dayz - the hosts, the apartment, the view! Our primary requirement for our stay in Picton was a kitchen as we needed to make food for a family gathering up the road. The kitchen has plenty of room to spread out to cook, with a full-size stove. The kitchen has everything the average person would need to prepare a full meal. There are plenty of storage options for your bags, etc. in the bedroom and living area and this apartment would be great for an extended stay in the area. The living area is spacious and very comfortable. We loved sitting on the front patio overlooking the water, and the propane grill right outside the door was very handy.
The hosts are a fantastic couple and more than willing to give directions and local recommendations (my boyfriend needed a haircut and the local female barber gave him the best cut he's had in ages). The location is convenient to town and everything Prince Edward County has to offer. The apartment is all on a single level, with just a slight step onto the patio from the driveway, so it would be perfect for seniors or anyone with mobility issues. OH - and there were a few snacks, the BEST donuts I've had in years (we stopped at the shop on our way out of town for more), milk, coffee (delicious and I forgot to ask the brand!), tea, and sugar - all making it just a bit more homelike.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lazy Dayz to anyone visiting Picton. In fact, I did recommend it to my family during our gathering.

Would Definitely Recommend Lazy Dayz to anyone visiting Prince Edward County!
We stayed at Lazy Dayz while enjoying a mini-break to Prince Edward County. The location of the apartment is great - a 15 minute walk into Picton; a short drive to the Lake On The mountain and Sandbanks and close to the Glenora Ferry that you can take if you wish to continue the lovely drive along the Loyalist Parkway towards Kingston.
Michael & Joanne were wonderful hosts who gave us great suggestions on places to visit/eat/drink during our stay and also supplied essentials like milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bottled water and snacks - which was much appreciated.
The apartment was clean, cozy and beautifully decorated - a real home from home. We didn't get chance to use the outside patio, but can imagine that it would be lovely to sit there on an evening with a glass of local wine enjoying the view of the sun setting.
We would definitely stay at Lazy Dayz again and will certainly recommend it to our family and friends.

Un petit chez soi abordable et confortable
Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans ce petit appartement tout à fait confortable, propre, bien aménagé avec des hôtes des plus attentionnés. Accueillis par Joan, nous avions à notre arrivée des produits de base déjà disponibles (lait, café, thé, sucre, croustilles, biscottes, fromage et...beignes "maison" délicieux). Et même qu'en cours de séjour Joan est aussi venue nous offrir des carrés aux dattes qu'elle avait aussi fait elle-même. C'est un excellent compromis quand on ne veut pas manger toute la semaine au resto car, en plus, Picton est une petite ville de 4000 habitants et il n'y a pas un grand choix de restos. Cependant on peut tout y trouver (un Métro et un Sobey's) pour s'organiser chez "soi" avec un BBQ à notre disposition, une petite terrasse avec table et chaises pour y manger à l'extérieur avec la vue sur les couchers de soleil. Et tout ça loin de la cohue touristique puisque c'est un milieu totalement résidentiel. Ce n'est pas le chemin idéal pour marcher ou rouler en vélo mais c'est quand même possible en étant très prudents. À 20 minutes environ du Parc National de Sandbanks qui est magnifique et qu'il ne faut surtout pas manquer et pour les amateurs de golf, un assez beau terrain à 5 minutes (Picton golf and country Club). Précaution si vous y séjournez pour quelques jours, prévoir des "zip-loc" et/ou des plats pour conserver les produits ouverts ou encore du papier aluminium ou "saran-wrap" (sinon vous pouvez sans doute vous en procurer au magasin 1$ de la rue Principale). Joan et MIchael toujours de bons conseils et à l'affût de nos besoins et...un voisin à qui on aurait dû parler dès notre arrivée car c'est une véritable source d'informations tellement il connaît tout. IL y a toujours vécu et on l'a surnommé "chambre de commerce". Nos charmants hôtes sont originaires d'Angleterre et n'y sont que depuis 3 ans mais ils sont tout à fait charmants. Certains canaux de télé disponibles en français.

The Perfect Getaway!
From start to finish, "Lazy Dayz" was a top-notch vacation get-away. The hosts were quick to welcome us in a most polite, cheerful, unpretentious way, and assured us of providing anything that we were lacking. We found the vacation apartment to be very clean, and tastefully updated & decorated. The kitchen was well provided with pots, dishes, utensils, & wine glasses to complement our wine-tasting tour. The owners even went the extra mile of providing snacks & a carton of milk in the fridge! There were even maps & pamphlets available providing tourist information for the county. The owners checked on us during our stay inquiring about our comfort as the weather had been cool & rainy, and pointed us to a cute little electric fireplace stashed away in the closet for our use. "Lazy Dayz" really exceeded our expectations & we won't hesitate to stay there again & recommend it to friends visiting the Picton area!

Fantastic weekend!
The apartment was very comfortable and extremely clean! We walked to Picton in the evening then took a taxi back ($8). The hosts were very friendly, helpful and considerate. Even though we were staying in their house, we still felt like our space was relatively private.
We are already talking about going back next year!

Home Away From Home
We knew when we saw this property on tripadvisr that this was the place for us. It is a beautiful little apartment in the basement of their house. We loved the kitchen and patio with the bbq , which we used everyday to keep our travel expenses down. The apartment is tastefully decorated and spacious with a separate bedroom, kitchen and livingroom area with a nice sectional couch and tv to relax.
Michael and Joanne are very friendly and welcoming and yet respect your privacy. They supplied us with coffee, tea and sugar and put milk in the frig. They also had muffins and doughnuts from a bakery there for us as a nice surprise.
This is everything you could possibly want and more. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, all you need is the groceries.
It's an adorable little place to stay instead of a hotel room and priced reasonably for what you are getting. We would highly recommend this place. They are very nice people.

Great Condo/Apartment to rent
Great place to stay. Comfortable, clean, quiet with lots of space, patio facing the water & a BBQ which we used both nights of our stay. Must say the bedding was lovely.
The three sister's enjoyed our stay & would recommend to others.
