Set in the heart of the pretty village of Parcay-les-Pins, this delightful cottage has been sympathetically renovated to a very high standard. The owners have retained all the beautiful features of this cottage - golden beams throughout and traditional fireplaces downstairs have been complemented with French furniture and decor. This deceptively spacious cottage sleeps 4/6 people plus baby. On the ground floor there is a very pretty lounge, a stunning dining room and a fully fitted kitchen. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, both with their own en-suite facilities. There is a cot and highchair available if needed and fresh linen and towels are provided free of charge. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, both with their own en-suite facilities. There is a cot and highchair available if needed and fresh linen and towels are provided free of charge. For your comfort, La Josephine is a non smoking property. There is plenty of free parking just outside the cottage. THE LOUNGE The attractive lounge leads from the terrace and is perfect for relaxing after a busy day sight-seeing. The focal point of the room is a lovely traditional tuffeau stone fireplace with wood-burning stove. Well renovated gite, but spoilt by the overload of books everywhere, including eight carrier bags full lined up against the living room wall. Not a good look. There were two overfilled bookshelves (weren't on web site photos), books on mantlepiece, on landing, in kitchen etc....More
