There were six of us that stayed in the Monashee and Companion cabin. Three adults, two teenagers and a child. It was the first time we have ever had a vacation in a cabin, and we loved it. Everyone had their own space and their own beds. It was wonderful.
The photos of the site are exactly how they appear to be in person. Absolutely stunning. Revelstoke is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to.
I've read previous comments on here about how loud traffic and the train is, but we didn't find it bothersome on holidays. Watching the train peek thru the trees at night with the lights on while sitting at the camp fire was so cool. We all agreed that we were so tired from a day of "mountain air" that the train didn't wake us at night. If you think of it, you can't go any where in the Rockies without hearing a train.
Nancy and her husband (the owners) were so friendly and their children played with my son who was so happy to have other children to play...
