The large solar powered post and beam cabin was built in 2003. The full country kitchen, is equipped with all the cooking and dining utensils you will would need for preparing and cooking meals for larger groups. The dining room has stunning views of the Enderby Cliffs, and the Shuswap River below, and the 10 foot dining table can easily seat up to 12 guests. The large cozy living room has a masonry fireplace, and comfortable places to lounge and play board games. There is a screened in living room off of the kitchen that has a rock fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. The master bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has 2 double on the bottom, twin on the top bunk beds (sleeps 6), and the recessed room off of the living room has two double futons (...The large solar powered post and beam cabin was built in 2003. There is also a seasonal screened in bedroom/ sitting area (May-Sept). There are 2 full bathrooms, plus an outdoor shower. The yard ~ amazing views on the outdoor terraced patio, surrounded by a grape arbors and lavender beds. There is also a wood-fired sauna for apres ski relaxing. The 160 acres property has walking trails that lead to spectacular views of the North Okanagan Valley and the Shuswap River below. ***Please note that Lavender Cabin is heated with wood*** We provide paper, kindling and wood, directions on how to start and maintain wood fires. Your accommodations will be toasty warm upon arrival. ***The guest is responsible for the lighting and tending of fires after check in*** We have beautiful hiking/snowshoeing and bush skiing trails here on the property, feel free to explore the trails and look-outs, however the Larch Hills trails systems is only a 10 min drive away. The Lavender Cabin is approximately 25 minutes from the nearest grocery store so stock up on supplies before heading up the hill. In the winter we recommend that you have a 4wd vehicle. The Lavender Cabin will have an assortment of teas, salt and pepper. More

Don’t follow Goggle directions it takes you up a cross country ski track. Part of Tin poppy retreat so use this for goggle maps. Clean , great view. Main bedroom needs a fan as it gets very hot in there. Second bedroom mattresses we not...More

Hi Gordon, that's good to know, follow google maps and not google directions..I would have assumed if we're on the map, the directions would follow. *Also for anybody reading this, GPS and Apple Maps doesn't work either* The best is follow the directions provided. Thanks...More

Larch Hills trails systems is only 10 min away. has endless kilometers of volunteer maintained trails and roads suitable for horses, mountain bikes and hiking. Most of the roads and trails are suitable for beginners and intermediates. However, the highly skilled MT Bikers and / or very fit will find challenges to suit them as well. The Larch Hills trails connect to Rubberhead and South Canoe mountain bike trails. Larch Hills Winery is also close by.
Getting around
You'll want a car to get around and explore, and in the winter 4x4 or all wheel is recommended.
