Newly converted in 2014 The Old Coach House is finished to the highest standard in a traditional style. The property is fully detached with a private patio area and garden including garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. There is a large off-road parking area to the front. Across the parking area there is another garden with a covered hot tub exclusively for the use of guests staying in The Old Coach House, a small charge of £2 per day is made to help cover heating and maintenance costs. The first floor bedroom is spacious with a luxurious oak Super King Size bed and dressing table. Next to the bedroom is a modern fully tiled shower room with powerful shower. The ground floor is a spacious open plan area with a sofa and sofa bed which can accommodate an additional two guests. Great holiday in picturesque Maiden Newton. The Old Coach House is a lovely hideaway, well equipped and the hot tub a lovely bonus. We explored the jurassic coast from here, a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed and Would recommend. Thank you

I stayed here with my husband and baby daughter for a week and we had a great time! The cottage is just as described and we found it to be spotlessly clean. It was also really comfortable, especially the huge bed! Outside space is nice...More

Perfect cottage for week away in Dorset. Cottage had everything we needed & more. Modern, clean & well maintained, with extras provided for our dog. Great base to explore the county. Pub, shop and train station within 5 min walk.

We are on the edge of Maiden Newton only five minutes walk from a friendly local pub, French restaurant, village stores and railway station. There are beautiful country walks on our doorstep and the stunning Jurassic coast world heritage site is just a short drive.
Getting around
There is a bus stop a few yards from the cottage and a railway station within 5 minutes walk. Dorchester is one stop on the train, Weymouth can be reached in around 20 minutes and Bath in around 1 1/2 hours. Bournemouth, Poole, West Bay and Lyme Regis are all easily accessible by car.
