The apartment is on the 10th hole of a golf estate, so even though there is easy access to the walkways, beach and running/cycling paths, guests need to avoid walking on the course when golf is in play. You will have with full access after golfing hours.
The safety of the estate, neighbourhood, golf course, and private beach allows for a relaxing getaway enjoying these surroundings before exploring what the rest of Cape Town has to offer.
The apartment is 1 km from a shopping centre which has Woolworths Food, Seattle coffee shop, a Chinese restaurant, an Italian pizza restaurant, a Cowboys and Cooks steakhouse, a sports bar, hairdresser, beauty spa and a kitesurf/water sports store.
The apartment is perfectly placed within a 250m walk to the beach, for you to walk there and back easily with your kite. Play a round of golf, by simply walking over to the clubhouse from the apartment.
Getting around
Cape Town has a well established bus rapid transport system, called MyCiti. The Sunset Beach bus stop is 1km walk from the apartment, taking you either up the West Coast as far as Melkbosstrand or towards the city centre, V&A waterfront, Camps Bay, or Hout Bay - with many touristic spots along the route for you to hop on or off.
In order to tour Cape Town more extensively you do need a car, however if you are here for the beach, kite surfing, running, cycling, walking, golf and relaxation - you could easily do without a car and take the MyCiti bus into the city from time to time. Its personal preference
