'Solymar', a newly refurbished self-catering ground floor, 2 bed apart situated in Marbessa - Elviria, very close to the beach with fantastic sea views from the kitchen, lounge, main bedroom, patio & terrace. The apartment is air-conditioned throughout with patio doors from the lounge leading to a large south facing private terrace and patio, relax and enjoy alfresco dining and the perfect sun-downer. You can choose to relax on a comfortable sofa, dine outside or stretch out on a lounger. Free Wifi connection, flat screen TV & DVD player. The apartments has a smart new kitchen installed in June 2015 fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave and large fridge freezer.

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sun!
I spent a week at the apartment in the middle of August 2015 with my partner and his 13 year old daughter. The weather was fantastic all week and we enjoyed our time thoroughly.
The apartment was immaculately clean, spacious and very well decorated. (We especially like the butterflies on the patio doors) It was wonderful to have a main bathroom and an en-suite shower room as this allowed my partners daughter to have her own space and privacy. The newly fitted kitchen came with everything we could ask for and having a hairdryer and an iron in the apartment were very nice little advantages!
The terrace was our favorite area and where we spent most of our time during the days. The sun loungers we used religiously each day and the patio furniture provided somewhere to sit in the shade under the canopy (which was much appreciated when it got a bit too hot!!)
We commented towards the end of our holiday (after some exploration of the complex) that we believed that this apartment has got to be one of the best in the complex! The terrace gives you a private area to enjoy the sun but having the beach located 1 minute walk from the terrace and the pool 1 minute walk from the front door you are almost spoilt for choice!
There is also a local supermarket within a 5 minute walk from the apartment which came in very handy as we cooked for ourselves a number of evening during our stay (plus it allowed us to have a ice cream treat everyday!!) You just could not beat this place on location!
There were a number of nice enough little cafes dotted about the beach and a rather nice Indian Curry House just a short walk on the way to the supermarket. But our favourite dining out experience was for my partners birthday when we walked along the beach to the left and down a street full of beautiful villas towards a small marina about 40 minutes away. As we were walking in such beautiful surrounding it didn't seem to take long at all. At the marina there was a big range of restaurants and bars for every taste including Tapas, Mediterranean, Italian, Chinese and even an Irish Sports bar. On the way back we walked the length of the beach as the sun was setting, its was a wonderful evening!
If you do intend to do more than relax in the sun, on the beach or by the pool and are looking for more activities to do I would suggest having a car. (There is parking available for the apartment I believe) We used taxis and although they are not drastically expensive they do eat away at your money if you have lots you want to visit. We only ventured into Marbella (which costs us about $18 each way) and visited the Market which was well worth it. Its quite big and there isn't lots of shade so heading there as close to 9am as possible is recommended.
Overall we loved our time at the apartment. We did have a issue with a broken dishwasher and one of the air con units had to be looked at but Danny from Casa Care was very prompt and courteous about getting things sorted straight away. He ensured we were disturbed as little as possible and as you can see from my rating it didn't effect our experience at all! Beautiful apartment, beautiful surrounding and a beautiful holiday!

Absolutely Amazing
Myself, my Husband and Teenage Son stayed in Solymar last July, this apartment had just been completely renovated and was in pristine condition , comfortable and relaxing. This apartment is so close to the beach, if you tripped you'd land on it, there is a stunning pool just steps from the entrance with a beautiful poolside bar and restaurant. There are many local bars, restaurants and supermarket just couple of minutes walk. Would I stay here again ? ABSOLUTLY . Would I recommend it ? 100% Yes. I would find it hard to believe anyone could find fault with this beautiful apartment and location.

perfect location and facilities
Just had a lovely long weekend at Solymar. The photos neatly show the perfect location of being near to the sea but occupying quite a private section of the beach.
It is easy to get to Marbella centre itself or to stay at the apartment and enjoy the lovely porch and outdoor area. I could have quite happily stayed on the porch area for the whole of the holiday.
Access to the outdoor and indoor pool were very easy. There is a very nice supermarket within a short walk - lovely fresh baguettes and fruit/veg and a variety of friendly restaurants within walking distance.
We booked a long weekend at the end of May - and it was lovely !

Amazing😎
Fantastic apartment. So well equipped with quality goods. Kitchen facilities ex ellent with matching crockery, cutlery and glasses unlike some apartments we have been to. Outside area amazing with comfortable furniture and great views. Can recommend La Papillon next door as a place to sit and chill by the sea with a cold glass of wine or three!!! Altogether a great experience and would highly recommend.

Genieten van zon, zee en omgeving.
Mooi ingericht appartement vlak aan zee met groot terras. Door de tuin bereik je de zee zonder straat ertussen. Het gemeenschappelijk zwembad is ruim voor groot en klein. Er is airco aanwezig maar zo vlak aan zee heb je dit niet veel nodig. Restaurantjes in overvloed op wandelafstand langs het strand. Je kan te voet naar een kleine buurtwinkel en een superette. Op 5 min rijden ligt een grotere en goede supersol. Met steden zoals Marbella, Ronda en Malaga in de buurt kan je mooie uitstapjes plannen. Vergeet vooral het leuke Puerto Bañus net voorbij Marbella!

Great location
Great spacious apartment. Apartment clean, easy located. Two bathrooms terrific. Apartment overlooks lawn which overlooks beach. Scenery beautiful. As the apartment is in a corner area, there is not alot of people walking past your view. Very relaxing.Although it is a more remote location, once you got your bearings everything you would need is accessible. Supermarket close, restaurants via beach close. Local bus 5 minute walk away. We did not have a car but that did not stop us. Definitely will be booking again.

Ultimate summer holiday
This was an amazing summer holiday. The property was exactly as described, even better... the place is clean and comfortable with plenty of sitting areas each with a gorgeous view. Brilliant showers and comfortable beds. Makes all the difference!
The pool is right there and an awesome place to relax, the beach is pleasant and not overfull... it was just perfect.
All the staff especially the hotel staff, are friendly, pleasant and very helpful. Helping us with places to go and how to get there etc. It is advisable to have a car but the taxi run nicely too.
We had an amazing refreshing stay and it was very hard to leave!

Lovely suntrap
The photos don't really do this little gem justice, it was perfect! The apartment has everything that you need and the terrace!! The sun (when it shone the week that we were there) just caked the terrace which was very well equipped with loungers/easy chairs/sub beds/umbrella. So close to the beach and the restaurant next door was ideal for afternoon tea. Highly recommended.

About the neighborhood
A glamorous Spanish resort on the Costa del Sol, Marbella has something for everyone. Fabulous beaches, warm blue sea, chic upmarket shopping, great restaurants, night life, and leisure activities.<BR><BR>Our apartment is located in Elviria-Marbessa in a quiet, secluded beach front complex, the pictures show the fabulous sea views just beyond the garden.<BR><BR>The Costa del Sol has an enviable year round mild climate with around 320 days of sunshine, with the hottest months in July & August, many people all choose to escape the northern European climate in the Autumn, Winter & Spring. It is not unusual to see people in shorts and t-shirts sitting outside cafés in November. <BR><BR>I would recommend you visit the old town in Marbella: Plaza de los Naranjos (Orange Square), where you will find an assortment of Spanish restaurants and bars, meander around this area to find lovely shops. Further along the coast is the famous marina of Puerto Banus with full of luxury yachts and fast cars, playground of the rich and famous, the area is also renowned for high end shopping, fine dining and lively bars to fit all tastes. <BR><BR>The 'Paseo Maritimo' in Marbella is a lovley long seafront promenade bordered by bars, restaurants and shops, with views over to Gibraltar it is a great way to spend a few hours.<BR><BR>In the Elviria region the new 'Amizon Jungle Tree-rope adventure Park' is a must visit place for those travelling with children, or visit Funny Beach.
Getting around
Diving along the coastal road is very easy with good sign posts to find towns such as Rhonda but if you don't fancy driving there is a local bus that for the cost of less than 3 Euro will take you into Marbella, from there you can walk round, take a boat along to Puerto Banus or another bus to a more distant destination. The bus stop is just a short walk from the apartment
Some guests have walked along the beach to Marbella, this will take a good couple of hours but there are many bars and restaurants along the way.

Most guests rent a car at the airport and drive along the coastal road (A7) from Malaga towards Marbella, the drive takes around 40 minutes.
We can help you with a taxi transfer, the driver will have the apartment keys for you, just ask for details.
Public buses are available from the airport taking you into the center of Marbella where you can take a local bus or taxi to Elviria.
