Im sure you all understand the current situation and we have to abide by current legislation. As it stands at the present time we hope to be open by mid-July.
Adjustments to the current cottage description have to made at the present time, therefore, for your information the Swimming pool, Sauna and Hot tub will be closed until further notice, the bar and restaurant will be open but restrictions imposed, so please get access advice from Kenegie reception.
Tolpedn Cottage including kitchen areas will not be as fully equipped as normal therefore their will be no iron, ironing board, airer, radio or hairdyers in the property. There will also be no high chair or travel cot available. The kitchen will only have equipment for the relevant number of people to reduce the chances of transmission. and the welcome pack normally present will only be the basics (tea, coffee, sugar and milk).
For your reference, please contact any relevant activities/restaurants you wish to visit before arrival to check requirements needed to enable access and to avoid disappointment. Please also bring face covering for when they are required.

whilst Covid19 restrictions are in place, all guests will need to have a temperature check on arrival and fill out a track and trace form this is to adhere to government rulings. Details of how to do this will be advised a short time before arrival.
Please bring face coverings with you for use when required. Ensure you are feeling well and not showing symptoms before making the journey, any questions or queries regarding the restrictions in this area i will be more than happy to answer.
We were happy with the cottage and enjoyed our stay.
We had a very warm welcome with cream tea, strawberrys and flowers.
The cottage was well equipped. Karen personally took care of any problem and was very kind.
Kennegie Manor holiday park is sited 1,5 mi from Penzance and can be reached by narrow roads only.

PERFECT HOST
Despite the cold weather and Storm Armen, Tolpedn Cottage was the perfect place to relax after a long day. Immaculate and comfortable, it contains all you need to enjoy your holiday in Penzance. The host, Karen, was very attentive and professional. We look forward to returning in the future. As an afterthought, the Cream tea, on arrival, was a lovely surprise.

Excellent accommodation in Penzance
Tolpden cottage was absolutely perfect for our break in Cornwall. It was situated very conveniently in Penzance and near enough to St. Ives for a day trip.
Spotlessly clean and very inviting especially when greeted with a fabulous fresh cream tea.
Highly recommended!

Excellent accommodation and great location.
The property is an ideal location for trips around Cornwall. We had say trips to Land's End, St Ives, St Michael's Mount and Lizard Point whilst there and Penzance is a short walk away and Mousehole and Newlyn aren't too much further.
The cottage was just the right size for a short stay with all the facilities we needed. As it is set in a holiday park all amenities were also on sight which was very convenient.
What made the stay was the welcoming gift of a cream tea with home made scones and jam and fresh strawberries too. Such a nice touch that made all the difference after a long drive down to the end of the country!

nostalgic trip
The 4th time we have stayed here in the last 3 years. Great value for money and the owner Karen is the hostess with the mostess - her welcome pack great as long as you ignore the calories in the clotted cream etc. !! I think there may be dampness issues but nothing too serious in September. The on site Kenegie Manor has definitely gone downhill since last year. The meals used to be good value. This year they were less than average and the staff did not seem able to cope. Still a handy on site bar and the swimming pool is fine. The cottage is great for visiting the area but the roads in Gulval are narrow and dangerous (I had a lady run into my back on a blind bend). Just drive with caution. It is too far from Penzance to walk in and it would be dangerous to do so. Despite all that, if you want value for money this is the place.

Tolpedn is not directly part of Kenegie Manor however i will pass on your comments to the management team regarding the meals, thank you for your opinion, it is appreciated especially with regular visitors to the park and Tolpedn cottage.
The dampness issue has already been spotted and is being sorted as we speak,any problem normally shows itself at this time of year, and i fully agree with you as regards driving with caution along many of the small Cornish roads, including the one through Gulval.
It was lovely to meet you, and I do hope to welcome you again in the near future, thank you once more for your review.

My daughter son and grandchildren were staying here whilst down in Cornwall for our wedding day. I booked 4 different premises for family on kenegie manor so that they could all be together which worked very well.
The cottage is very well equipped and in Karen has the perfect host, great communication and a welcome pack over and above expectation.
There were chocolates, flowers, a cream tea, tea coffee and biscuits, milk and also strawberries and cream in the fridge.. Wow!
They had a wonderful stay and we won't have any qualms about booking again in the future.

I would recommend this Cottage.
Both my wife and myself have just spent a week in the cottage. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely plate of fresh scones, jam,clotted cream and milk in the fridge. You just know that you are going to enjoy your holiday. The condition of the cottage and all that you would require was outstanding. You can see that the lady who owns the cottage takes pride in it and this is obvious to all who have stayed there.
Overall it was a week we both thoroughly enjoyed.
