Modern and well laid out this great holiday cottage is just a few minutes’ stroll from Camber sands beach, which, protected by huge sands dunes is a vast expanse of sandy beach, half a mile wide at low tide!
The ground floor of Camber Cottage offers plenty of space for families and friends to socialise together or, if desired part, with a large lounge with dining table (seating for 8), sofas and a flat screen TV and DVD player and a separate sitting area with small flat screen TV in the large entrance hall, there is plenty of space of the kids to have their own TV or parents to relax within earshot of youngsters whilst still being able to give them their own space. The large lounge area leads via french doors onto a large partly-decked garden which is perfect for relaxing in and dining al fresco after a day on the beach.
A large kitchen is a great space for the socialising that we all know takes place in the kitchen, and, equipped with everything you could need including an oven with grill and hob, fridge/freezer, and microwave, it is perfect for preparing meals to enjoy during your stay. A separate utility room from the kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer is ideal for getting those sandy and muddy clothes washed after a busy day exploring the local area.
There is a WC on the ground floor too.
Upstairs there is 4 bedrooms, the large master bedroom has a king size bed and is complete with en suite shower room and built in wardrobes, so there is plenty of space to store all of your holiday clothes.
The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the third with three single beds and a fourth with a single bed, all have space for clothes storage.
A large family bathroom has a bath with shower over and WC.
Camber Cottage is one of the largest properties on this new, fishermans’ style development and boasts a large double garage, which accommodates a full sized table tennis table, which will keep the young (and the young at heart) entertained, the garage is also a great place to store all your buckets and spades, wet suits and surf boards after a day out on Camber Sands.

Camber Cottage - Beside the sea - hardly does it justice. The "Cottage" a lovely 4 bed house, very well equipped, found everything we needed for our stay; nicely furnished - plenty of space inside and out, the double garage is a games room with table tennis table and dart board (take your own darts).Outside decking and dining furniture plus BBQ, fully fenced so safe for kids and dogs to roam free. Richard + Sophie, the managers are quick to respond to inquiries and give assistance if required. Their pre arrival communication is good and the digital property booklet very useful and comprehensive.
The Property is set on a private estate just 100mts from the access to the beach. The dunes are quite high , the nearest / easiest route is access "C", for light exercise or "D" (for difficult) quite a trudge up to the top of the 25m dune. Before you is then 7 miles of flat sandy beach, the tide when out means to sea is 800mts away. Can be windy, so take a wind break or beach tent.
Local bars , restaurants and shops within walking distance or go into Rye , 10 mins in car (park in market place £2 all day except market day Thursday).
It was abase that gave us a lovely family holiday - highly recommended

Family holiday
We had a great time at the holiday cottage , it was modern and well kept , we stayed with both our daughters my daughters partner and all our grandchildren . The granhildren loved the beach and sea and we always came home at the end of the day , had great meals cooked by us all and good fun in the double garage where we played table tennis competitions when the children had all gone to bed . The home had plenty of space and well equipped for our large family and it was a joy to stay there for the week .

Great Family Holiday
We all met up for a family holiday in three houses 19 of our immediate family from 3weeks old to over 70 and had a really great week organised superbly by beside the sea holidays the table tennis in Camber Cottage was brilliant for all of us in the evenings All the houses were very well equipped

Great holiday let, ideal location
We stayed for 1 week over Easter and the school hols - we were 2 families so 4 adults and 4 kids in total. Overall I would describe the property as having great potential - just a few things that need updating. The space in the house worked out well and the three older kids (5, 5, 3) loved sharing a bedroom. The kitchen and dining spaces were a good size, the dining chairs are old and a couple broken but still useable. The master suite is very comfortable and there is good storage in every bedroom. Great showers and central heating. We missed having wi-if but thankfully we had decent 3G coverage. The location is superb - a 5 minute walk to the beach. Thankfully the sun shone all week and we had a fab holiday!
