In a prominent position, on the Blue Flag award winning sandy beach at Camber Sands, is this charming cottage. It is south facing and enjoys breathtaking sea views from its open terrace and sun rooms and shares a cordoned off private beach, accessed via 10 steps from the terrace.. Sleeping up to 6 guests, the cottage is bright, airy and has been recently refurbished throughout in relaxing tones. It is well-equipped, creating a comfortable and stunning retreat.

The second bedroom had a triple bunk (single on top and double below (both have good quality mattresses).
This is the perfect beach holiday for young and old alike with 7 miles of golden sand and the dunes to walk, play on or just spectate. It is an ideal spot for kite flying, beach games, water sports, fishing and nature lovers. There is a golf course and sailing lake nearby. The cottage is located a few paces from the car park and has a beach cafe, ice cream parlour, 3 good restaurants that welcome children and a family pub all within a 3 minute walk. The medieval town of Rye is just 3 miles away.
Free wifi, a games console, range of DVD’s, books, games and beach toys are at the property for use by guests. A travel cot, stair gate and highchair are available upon request.
This is a non smoking, family cottage, which is not suitable for large groups. One small, well behaved pet is permitted to stay for an additional fee of £25, payable prior to arrival.

From the moment stepped foot into the property we were all super impressed. Loads of room, perfect location, super chill and internet quality was awesome. Cannot wait to go back

Wonderful location right on beach and nicely done house
Perfect location, loved being right on the beach and end of September a good time - not so busy. Loved watching the sea and weather from the beach room or first floor sunroom. House nicely done with some designer furniture and textiles and well stocked kitchen. Lots of really great places to visit nearby, Rye, Dungeness, the fabulous moated Bodiam castle, and inspiring Great Dixter garden. Hastings Contemporary worth a visit too. And we loved buying fish to cook from Rye Bay Fish - could become a habit!

A very happy family holiday
We were so delighted by our stay at Stowaway cottage, on the beach at Camber Sands. In these challenging times it was extremely relaxing and wonderful to have our own bit of beach for the children to play on. The house was spotlessly clean and there were lots of extra little things that really made the holiday, such as the great supply of games, extra seaside bits and bobs and a great book shelf. We hope to return next year.

Lovely short break
We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 dogs,the owners were very accommodating in letting us and our 2 well behaved Greyhounds stay . Our dogs loved the location with the property right on the beach , as did we!
Sitting in the sun room watching and listening to the waves crashing was wonderful. Property itself was lovely and clean and well equipped, with comfortable beds and pillows! Being December the weather was a little chilly but with a couple of the additional heaters on , we were pretty snug! Flooring in the property made it nice and easy to keep the sand under control with a handy little Dyson to run around whenever you needed! Thanks so much we had a lovely stay in your cottage!

Perfect beachfront location
The location is sensational, right on the beach. Either the patio overlooking the dunes or sun room upstairs are the perfect place to sit and watch the stars and listen to the sea with a glass of wine or two. The cottage is lovely with lots of nice homely touches. It will be my first choice if back in the area.

Wonderful stay!
In June we had a fantastic one week stay at Stowaway Beach House! We had great weather and there was everything we needed and more. Everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed every day the terrace directly at the dunes and the beautiful beach in front of it. In the evening we enjoyed the view from the lovely upper sun deck.

Wonderful location on the beach
Very comfortable and cosy cottage right on the beach with amazing sea views.
Perfect for children, we had a very relaxing stay. Louise and Louis were very attentive.

Great location and comfortable accommodation
We stayed for 4 nights in May with our 1 year old and 4 year old. The house had everything we could have wished for inc stair gates and highchair etc for the baby.
We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift of some local produce which was a lovely touch.
The sun room is the perfect spot to watch the tide come in and out and the daily goings on kept us all entertained. We had a lovely meal out one night at the owl where the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

40th birthday escape
Have just spent 3 nights at Stowaway, although it felt much longer. What a lovely beach house in a lovely location. Felt immediately relaxed as soon as I walked through the door. Stowaway was so warm and cosy both day and night and the views of the beach are lovely. I'm so glad I chose to stay there for my 40th birthday. Had lovely walks on the beach, even in the rain. Stowaway has everything you need. Thank you again Louis and Louise. Can't wait to come back!!

Wonderful views and beach
We just got home from a 5 night stay here. Cottage, beach and sea lovely. Our 2 dogs Max and Roxy loved it. To sit and have breakfast overlooking the beach is fantastic. Listening to the sea and wind whilst in bed (which was super comfy) was a delight. We also had cake, biscuits and juice to meet us. Definitely be back.

A car is useful, however there are a lot of walks and cycle paths nearby linking places of interest. Furthermore there is a local bus service (the nearest bus stop is a 5 minute walk away in New Lydd Road), and the nearest train station is Rye, which is 3 miles away.
