Rufty Tufty is a pretty, modern, two bedroom, white weatherboarded self catering holiday cottage on the Whitesand development in Camber Sands.
Furnished in a cosy, country style, the cottage has been equipped to enable guests to enjoy a relaxing break beside the sea.
Situated overlooking SSSI marshland to the front, dotted with Romney Marsh sheep and just a few minutes stroll to the nearby dune enclosed Camber sands beach with it’s miles of beautiful sands, this cottage is the perfect base to enjoy a peaceful and relaxed holiday or weekend break.
Rufty Tufty is the ideal retreat for couples and small families looking for peace and tranquility of a cosy coastal hideaway and a great base in which to explore this unique corner of the country.
The cottage is within easy reach of local amenities - a friendly local pub, a fine dining restaurant and convenience stores are within a short walking distance. Just five miles away is the picturesque, medieval town of Rye which boasts cobbled streets, antique shops, independent retailers, cosy inns & tea rooms and fine restaurants.
Well-appointed, Rufty Tufty has two-bedrooms - one double bed and one with twin beds. The cottage can sleep up to 4 guests.
There is a bathroom upstairs with bath and shower, all linen including towels are provided for your stay.
Downstairs the open plan kitchen and living room is a very sociable and relaxed space with very comfortable seating for 4 people and a dining table that seats 4 guests.
There is also a separate WC downstairs.
In house entertainment includes a smart HDTV with freeview and Netflix in the living room, Bose wireless speaker and free wi-fi access which works throughout the property.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need including oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher fridge freezer and coffee machine. A separate utility area contains a washing machine
Young guests are well equipped for too, with a travel cot, [please bring your own cot bedding], high chair and stair gate all provided for your convenience.
To the rear of the property is a fully enclosed sunny garden area with Weber charcoal bbq.
A private off road covered parking space is also provided.

Beautiful cottage in a quite loaction a short diatsnce to the beach
Very well equipped, tucked away from the road, local shops, very good eating places and a short distance to the sea. In easy reach of Rye, Winchelsea, Hastings, Battle and Dymchurch. Lots to see and do. Excellent for a family of four.

hidden gem by the sea
Lovely, comfortable cottage overlooking extensive marshland. Amazing location with Rye and Dungeness very close by and the beach a short walk away. Lovely waking up to the sound of sheep in the morning with a beautiful view over the marsh from the double bedroom. Very cosy for a chilly evening with the shutters closed and the coastal lights on.

SUPERB RENTAL , GREAT VALUE , LOVELY COTTAGE , LOVELY LOCATION
great cottage , bigger than it looks, every thing your`ll need and more, its clean comfortable cosy and we had a lovely welcome basket of goodies
Its warm and cosy but bigger than you`d think it would be, the location is great and just 5 mins walk from the beach .
definitely recommend it and we plan to go again

Lovely cosy cottage, beautifully furnished and the welcome goodies were much appreciated :) Peaceful surroundings and only a short walk to the beach and shop. Dune bar restaurant serve great food but visit early evening if low season. Excellent sightseeing in Rye and also recommend the outlet centre in Ashford that we visited on our way home!

What a wonderful cottage - a cut above
We found the cottage easily. As we entered the cottage it was instantly presented as clean, modern, fresh, light and airy. Although compact it feels spacious. The cottage is furnished to an excellent standard with comfortable sofas and beds. The cottage is fully equipped for cooking and a lovely generous welcome pack. The wifi is excellent. The bathroom is modern and clean, towels provided. The decoration in the property is very well done, in keeping with seaside theme and was very relaxing. The outdoor space was lovely to enjoy the sun and private. Short walk to beach and local convenience stores was handy. Had a lovely week here, would recommend.
