Our 4 double bed 3 en-suite bathrooms + downstairs cloakroom has a small lovely garden. We are near the River Thames, Hampton Court Palace and Richmond Park. It is a 15-20 minutes train ride to Waterloo (South Bank with its famous attractions - Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, London Eye, etc) and 7 minutes to Wimbledon . Excellent shopping and transport links. 30 minutes from London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports. There are plenty of local buses, and Kingston Upon Thames, just up the road is a major bus hub and a very good shopping destination. The house was built in 2008, and is furnished in a contemporary style. Floor plan of the 3 levels. Note that the storage and cupboard areas of the top floor are not avail. Room dimensions. Yes, three of the bedrooms are a very good size. The kitchen. Built-in fridge / freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Kettle pots crockery cutlery Breakfast area. More chairs can be brought from the dining area. Double oven, 5 ring gas hob, extractor & plenty of cupboards. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar on arrival. Downstairs cloakroom. Towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner in all bathrooms. Entrance hall. Cloakroom behind left, kitchen behind right. stairs and lounge dining room ahead. Lounge area, large L-shaped 6 seat sofa + matching 3 seat. Coffee tables, cable TV, DVD and hi-fi. Large Queen size bed, full length mirror and a great view of the garden. Bedroom 2. Large built-in wardrobe. There are 2 hair driers and an iron with ironing board. Ensuite for bedroom 2. It has both a bath and shower cubical. All bathrooms have shaving sockets. Shower cubical for bedroom 2. Bedroom 3, some of the posters have been removed. Teddy has moved out to stay with a daughter. Bedroom 3 looking towards the bay window. There is a TV in this bedroom and also top floor bedroom. Third bathroom. it has 2 doors, one to bedroom 3 and one to hallway for bedroom 4 use. Bedroom 4. Its smaller than the others, but it still fits a double bed. Ideal room for children. Your hosts Barry and Irina. Our team led by our daughter Polina will take care of your stay. We like our guests to be greeted by either ourselves, our daughter Polina or one of our other helpers. We expect to hand the keys to the person who booked our home as a security precaution. The person who greets you will be able to quickly show you around and how to adjust the heating, use the washing machine / dishwasher etc. We supply some kitchen basics such tea / coffee / milk / biscuits / bottled water and some toiletries so that you have no need to dash to the shops the moment you arrive. You might even find a bottle of something stronger if you are lucky. Our daughter Polina lives in a separate flat within the grounds of the property, accessed via the garden gate. She can be contacted to assist with any requirements you may have.

About the neighborhood
Surbiton is 13 miles from Central London and it’s multitude of attractions available are well known and documented elsewhere. Surbiton and Kingston upon Thames are busy suburban towns having plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops. The River Thames, Royal Parks and Hampton Court Palace are close by. There are plenty of children’s playgrounds in walking distance, and Chessington World of Adventures a 30 min bus ride away. Kingston has a large Multiplex cinema and a bowling alley. Wimbledon Tennis, Twickenham Rugby and 3 top Horse Racecourses are not far away. Check TripAdvisor for other local attractions.
Getting around
From Surbiton to Waterloo is 10 mins walk then 15-20 min train journey. There are 4 fast trains an hour. Waterloo Station is a major Underground (Metro / Subway) hub, and close to a Thames River Bus pier at The London Eye. In both Surbiton and London there are many taxis. Surbiton is a short distance from Kingston which is a major hub for local buses. There are 4 pairs of bus stops within 3 mins walk of our front door, providing a large choice of destinations. There is also a Railway Station in Kingston, which offers some destinations are not served directly from Surbiton.
