Forest Mill Cottage is a delightfully situated detached former mill resting on the banks of the upper reaches of the Monnow River at the foot of the Black Mountain, just 7 miles from Hay on Wye. It is beautifully renovated to an exceptional standard retaining many original features. There are two bedrooms; The 'River Room' which has a delux kingsize bed and The 'Hobbit Room' which can be set up either as a superking or a twin room. There are also single occasional sofa beds in each bedroom for extra guests, allowing up to three people per room. The sitting room is super comfy with a wood burner and the usual tv, dvd player, bluetooth speaker and games! The kitchen diner is a fabulous room for enjoying family and friends time all together. Interaction with guests
Forest Mill Cottage stands in an acre and a half of garden along with Old Forest Mill where your hosts Mary and Jo (Mother & Daughter) live. The shared garden has the River Monnow running through it, great for kids and dogs to splash about in! Mary & Jo will greet you on arrival and show you around but will then leave it to you to call upon them thereafter if required. You could well get a wave from them across the garden!
