Superb villa in a superb location away from all the hustle and bustle
We stayed for 3 months , absolutely fantastic villa , very rustic and charming providing all you need for a very relaxing peaceful holiday . Just 2 hours from Malaga airport.Great location to explore on foot and by car . We loved it here this was our 2nd visit . Antonio and Rosario are superb hosts.

Stunning villa in stunning location
We stayed at el tejar Viego for 4 weeks through October . We had a tremendous time . The villa was outstanding , spacious with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in old rustic Spanish style. Very well equipped . The pool area was incredible with views across to the hills and direct to the castle and village at Carcabuey. The host Antonio was there for us , answered our queries, nothing too much trouble at all . The area of the villa completely surrounded by olive groves awesome place to walk the dog. Amenities on the doorstep with the village in walking distance and priego de Córdoba 10 min drive.
Back to the villa it offers everything and more for us , cosy comfortable absolute joy to sit on the veranda early morning for breakfast or late evening with a wine. We watched the bats skim the pool taking a drink in the evening. Very secure our dog roamed freely the whole time.
We , as in the whole family would highly recommend a visit to this absolute paradise of a villa 10 out 10 all round

J'ai loué cette maison 2 fois, en avril et en aout 2019.
Et celà à été parfait. Maison superbe, et tres propre , extérieurs tres agréable.
Grande et belle piscine, très bien entretenue . Maison géniale pour être au calme, tranquille dans un très beau cadre.
Merci aux propriétaires... j'espère revenir.....🇪🇸☀️🇪🇸

Lugar ideal para relajarse y cargar pilas, la piscina grande, las habitaciones cómodas, el equipamiento de la casa completo en ningún momento tuvimos que llamar a Antonio porque faltara nada, además el pan nos lo han traído por la mañana de Carcabuey. Antonio cómo te dijimos en la despedida seguro que repetimos. Un saludo, estuvimos del 22 al 29 de Mayo

Superbe maison
La maison est magnifique, très bien tenue, et très propre. Elle est isolée au milieu des oliviers mais à 1 ou 2 km du village de Carcabuey et à 5 km de Priego de Cordoba. La piscine est vraiment très grande, et la vue sur les oliviers et le village de Carcabuey est magnifique. Les propriétaires, Antonio et sa femme, habitent près de là et viennent tout de suite si vous avez un souci. A recommander sans aucune hésitation !

Increíble casa rural, increíble vistas e increíble la hospitalidad de Antonio y su mujer. Totalmente equipada, no falta nada. No dudes y no busquéis otra, es esta la que buscáis. Impecable la limpieza

EXCEPTIONNEL PISCINE ET MAISON !!
Depuis de nombreuses années nous réservons des maisons en Europe via HOMELIDAYS et franchement c'est la meilleure que nous ayons eu. Tout y est ! La maison est parfaitement organiser, très propre et entretenue, la piscines est juste formidable et le propriétaire d'une gentillesse énorme.
Nous sommes partis à 2 familles avec 4 enfants, soit 8 personnes, le site est très bien exposé, le village de Carcabuey à 5 min est d'une activité folle et génial.
Nous avons eu un service quasi hôtelier sans aucun supplément (changement du linge de maison, draps en cours de séjour et ménage final GRATUIT !).
Antonio est au petit soin pour vous, il faisait venir le boulanger chaque matin à la demande, bref, je recommande mille fois cette location avec un rapport qualité prix inégalé pour nous.

phenomenal house, gorgeous pool and view!
two families stayed here for a week in september 2012. we weren't able to find the house on trip advisor after we returned to write a review, but here it finally is!
this house is amazing; the owners are so gracious and kind; they helped us with everything from finding an open bank during holidays, to telling us where some wonderful local festivals would be.
the house itself has everything you could ask for, even a w/d tucked into the back of the kitchen. the photos do not do it justice. all the bedrooms are large and super clean, the pool area has it's own changing room with half bath. the location is very quiet and out-of-the-way, so sleeping at night is amazing. you are 45 minutes from granada and cordoba and 1 1/2 hours from seville and the beaches.
if you are looking for a supremely relaxing place to gather with friends or family, this is the place. we spent each evening after our touring by the pool, using the outdoor kitchen to make wood-grilled pizzas, and sitting on the deck to eat and watch the sunset. please contact me if you wish for any further information. enjoy!
