BiancaTea Venice apartment (as advertised in many sites) is located on the sunny second (topmost) floor of an ancient (Byzantine remnant decorations on the facade), typical Venetian three-storey building, looking onto the private Corte de Ca' Amadi, in the pulsing heart of Venice (see map!); Rialto Bridge and St. Mark Square are just 5 minutes walk away. The vaporetto (water bus) Rialto stop is also very close (5 minutes), so you do not need to pull your trolleys up and down many bridges on arrival/departure.
Plenty of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, cafes and bars are at hand to make your stay charming and easy going. Our apartment guide will reveal you the "secrets" of nearby area to experience the true Venice like a true Venetian. Though centrally located, the peaceful and private C...

Great value for money, excellent location
We (a family of 4) came to Venice to enjoy the city and BiancaTea was a near perfect property for us. The flat is clean and spacious. Amazing location 5 minutes away from Realto bridge and yet on a quiet back street. Only a few minutes away from multiple small restaurants, direct transfer from airport on Alilaguna and about 15 minutes walk from San Marco. Three supermarkets within 5 min walk and a fresh fish market just across Realto bridge.

Perfect loction
The location is perfect - only a few minutes the Rialto Bridge and 10 minutes the Piazza San Marco. The apartment is well equipped. The proprietor is very friendly and easy to get in contact with.

OK Apartment
The apartment itself was OK and met our needs. It was clean and in a central location. We had 2 big issues though.
1. It was stated that the apartment is air conditioned. Only the main bedroom has a/c. A fan was provided to move between the other bedroom and the living room. In 40 degree heat this was not adequate.
2. The apt is on the 2nd floor. There are 2 flights of very steep stairs. The problem is that the timed lights often go off as you are walking upstairs and this leaves you in pitch darkness which was very scary and very dangerous. It was not easy to find the light switches in the dark.

Dear Madam, I am sorry you spent your vacation in Venice during the hottest week of the hottest summer from decades. Usually temperatures are below 30-32 degrees in summer. That said, you should be more careful in accusing an owner of unfaithful flat descriptions, that is unacceptable on my side. If you had read with care the flat description, before booking, you would have read that there is a conditioner in the main bedroom and a fan in the second. In normal summer weather conditions they are enough (as many visitors before you could verify). As well, the description clearly states that the flat is at the second floor (of ground, first and second). Regarding the shortness of the light timer for the stairs, why haven't you informed me of your problem DURING your stay? I would have contacted the condominium manager to see if the time could be increased for your particular needs. Moreover, light switches are enlightened to located them. I am always available to help my guests, but they should at least put me in the condition to be helpful such that a ''big issue'' can become a no issue at all ...

Perfect place
Marco was very kind. The place has everything you need. Perfect location. Walking distance to major attractions. It is close to Rialto bridge from where u can purchase tickets for the waterboat if needed . A lot of restaurants and shops nearby. You have to go through some steps as it is at the top. so if u r carrying a heavy suitcase, can be difficult. Very happy with the place overall.

Very nice flat perfect for a family stay in a very nice location
This flat was just perfect for our family 3 adults and one child. There is even more beds for at least 2 or 3 persons. We really enjoyed the location which is near the Rialto bridge, there are good restaurants around the flat, you don't need to walk too long to find a meal. The flat is fully equipped with a kitchen even we did not use it except the fridge, if you need to find food / drinks the Rialto mercato is not far and there is as well a small supermarket "Coop".
The flat is quite big and perhaps the small thing missing is more shelf in the bathroom. Otherwise the rooms are very big and enough space for a longer stay. There was always hot water and the heating was working well. The flat was clean and tidy when we arrive.
The TV is a bit small and to find specific channels could be long (the french ones are located at around 400, but we did not use it too much and the good point is there is a free Internet in the flat. There was many printed sheets for the Vaporetto lines and some guides in English to help people finding things to visit and restaurants: that helped us a lot.
The greeting service was perfect and the person gave us good advices for food and what to visit in the city.
I would strongly recommend that flat for a stay in Venice and we would for sure keep that address for another visit.

Lovely apartment
We stayed for 4 nights in this lovely apartment. Location is ideal, right by Rialto Bridge, in the middle of shops, restaurants. Helpful meet & greeter. Apartment was clean with everything you could wish for for a short break away. Useful information guide provided by the owners.

Stayed here with 2 friends. The bedrooms are spacious and airy. Marco the owner was very friendly and helpful. Great location short walk from Rialto Bridge and near lots of nice shops but set in a quiet courtyard away from the hustle and bustle. Would definately stay here again.

This is a delightful apartment in an ideal setting! I stayed with my husband and three grown up children and we loved it. It's right in the heart of Venice but so peaceful too. It has everything you need for a great holiday- really well equipped and even has wifi. Highly recommended!

About the neighborhood
Maybe not everybody agrees that Venice is the most beatiful city in the world, however no one will ever deny that Venice is unique. No other city in the world can be compared or can really look like Venice, grown on few scattered sandy islands in the middle of a lagoon.
The city is a pure human invention, the result of centuries of artesan wisdom that created a masterpiece in an absolutely bizarre location. Loose yourself in the narrow alleys and discover the unique traditions, history and monuments of the ''Serenissima'';, once a powerful State of the Mediterranean, now an ''old elegant lady''; not ashamed to show the wrinkles of a thousand-year life.
Getting around
Major attractions (St. Mark, Rialto, Biennale, ciry Theaters ...) are at walking distance. Ferry stops at Rialto is 3 minutes away and enbake to reach airport, train station and all locations along the Grand Canal till Lido (beach). The ferry stop of Fondamente Nuove from which ferries leave to the islands (Murano, Burano and Torcello) is only 10 minutes walk.

How to get there
How to reach Venice.
By plane: Venice is connected to all major European cities and the US through the Marco Polo International Airport. From the airport you can get to central Venice bus station (Piazzale Roma, services: Atvo or Actv) about 20min.
Many low cost airlines land at the nearby Treviso airport from which you can get to Venice by coach or train, about 1h.
By train: Central train station (Venezia Santa Lucia) is served by national Highspeed and Intercity trains from all major Italian cities and also by international trains from several European cities.
By car: Venice can be reached through the national motorway A4. From the motorway toll station follow the indications to Venezia (Venice), finally crossing the bridge, connecting the mainland to the city centre. Since cars cannot circulate in the city centre you must park your car during your stay. Only paid parking is available at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, at the end of the bridge.
At Piazzale Roma you can also find all major car rental companies (Avis, Budget, Europcar etc..)
From Piazzale Roma (bus station and parkings) or from the train station use the boat public transportation lines (vaporetto) at the boarding platforms located on the Grand Canal bank.
Take line 1 or line 2, getting off at Rialto stop; BiancaTea flat is just 3 minutes walk from the stop (see map).
