Interaction with guests
When you arrive the key will be in the door and you can enjoy exploring the cottage and the surrounding farm. We live on the farm and will come and say hello shortly after you arrive to answer any questions such as where are the nearest shops, best walks to the pub or where to leave bicycles. And we're always happy to tell you about the farm and all the animals that we have.

About the neighborhood
Stonegate is in the middle of the High Weald area of outstanding natural beauty. We are surrounded by the glorious Sussex countryside with its wonderful old villages with great pubs. There are lots of National Trust places to visit like Batemans and Bodiam and gardens like Great Dixter, Sissinghurst and Perch Hill. The south coast, about 45 minutes away has lovely sandy beaches like Camber sands. And if you want more action Brighton is less than an hour away.
Getting around
Public transport in these parts is not great but Stonegate Station is within walking distance and London and Hastings are both within easy reach by train.
