Tobiana desert lodging offers comfortable heated/airconditioned rooms build with care for the environment and with artistic touch . Our cottages and desert rooms can hold up to 5 people each. The desert cottage has a view unto the Negev mountains. Our beautiful horses are there we teach them free style. There is a trapeze and a circus tent. for musicians there is an equipped music studio on the property. You can see the sunrise from the patio ! The hiking and biking trails start from your doorstep! you have an equipped kitchen and BBQ or bonfire. Also you can order meals in advance . Cafe Ezuz is the perfect option to taste the local delicacies like organic goat cheese and salads.

Lovely stay
This is the second time me and my family spend at Tobiana's. We rented an apartment with two bed rooms and a private shower. Everything was great. The apartment was clean and very pleasant. The premises has a fire pit, a shared kitchen and lots of things for kids to do. The village of Ezuz offers a beautiful retreat for people who enjoy the desert.
My only two comments are that we didn't have any hand or body soap and that the guesthouse doesn't offer baby cribs which is a shame.

Poor value
Extremely remote and quite location which is great to relax and unwind. Room very expensive for such a basic accommodation, unclean, noisy heating and no breakfast.

Time for a rest in the desert
We had a real good time, the hosts were very friendly and the food simply the best! The location is stunning: An tiny village with families living together upon a hill. We went visiting the goat farm and tasted the yoghurts and we spoke to a very friendly English speaking lady from Kenia. Totally relaxed athmosphere. We will definitely be back!

About the neighborhood
On the foothills of the Negev mountains, the middle of the desert nature resort, view to the Sinai, at the end of the road.
Ezuz meaning 'brave' a significant location from bronze age on and strategically guarded through biblical, Nabattean, Ottoman and Roman, periods all leaving us their traces in the form of pools, Terraces, Byzantian ruins, the Ottoman rail bridge, Shivta, Stonecarving of all periods, a forest ( Beerotaiim parc )
Here we, 17 farmers and artists families, are living an inspired and sustainable life working as sculpturers, ceramists and in other arts and crafts, growing organic vegetables, making goat cheeses, offering tour guides with camel or jeep.
Next to our vacation rental is Cafe Ezuz with pizza, beer and often live music!

How to get there
You can get to us by road 6 to beersheva After Beersheva road 40 but do not turn left to Mitspe Ramon but keep going straight on road 211 and left at Nitsana to Ezuz ( 8 kilometres ) . Bus 044 from Beersheva central busstation takes you direct to ezuz leaving at 19:00 or every hour to Ketsiot army base or Nitsana youth village. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Oh and last but not least: We are far away from banks and shops, even the gasstation is 50 kilometres away so come with cash and enough fuel!
