We stayed in this for my husband's 70th birthday and found it superb. It accommodated our family very well, allowing us all have our own space. The two kitchens were a great asset allowing the cooking for 9 of us to be done very quickly. Found the ovens in the Aga too slow (needing a service??) and ended up cooking...

Holme next-the-Sea has its own pub, 'The White Horse' which is newly refurbished and just a short walk from Lavender Barn. The pub has a traditional open fire place and serves good quality food and drink.<BR>Outside of Holme next-the-Sea we would also recommend:<BR><BR>The Lifeboat Inn, Thornham - The Lifeboat Inn on the North Norfolk Coast has been trading since the 16th Century - The Inn's original character has been carefully preserved throughout. Holme-next-the-Sea is situated on the A149 coast road around 2 miles east of Hunstanton. Entering the village from the direction of Hunstanton, take the third turning on the left into Eastgate Road which is opposite Chalkpit Lane to the right. Then turn immediately left into Manor Court where Lavender Barn can be can be found at the at the rear left hand side of the complex. Entering the village from the east along the A149 Coast Road continue through Thornham and into the village of Holme-next-the Sea.
