NEW FOREST STABLES nestles in the New Forest National Park, on the outskirts of Burley village with its amenities and local pubs. The STABLES is on the estate of a large Country House. Access is via a track through the forest to the Estate main gates. There is direct access to the surrounding forest and beautiful areas with panoramic views close by, a great place for picnics and to watch the sunset with a drink in hand. For the energetic, there are many walks, bicycle routes, and horse riding.

The Stables was the stables and groom's quarters that has been completely renovated to modern standards. The Stables is ideal for anyone who cannot climb stairs

About the neighborhood
There are many tourist attractions such as Paulton Park with Pepper Pig World Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Go Ape, Golf Club, New Forest Water Park are nearby. Excellent beaches are within easy reach with restaurants by the seafront.

The New Forest National Park has wonderful walks, cycle rides routes and horse riding.
Getting around
By car as public transport is limited. We are a 10 mile cycle ride from Brockenhurst mainline station with trains arriving from Waterloo.
Some guests have stayed with us using just cycles, and arranging their shopping deliveries direct from Waitrose/Sainsbury’s/Tesco

Airport: Southampton Airport and Bournemouth Airports are Both : 15.5 mi
Railway: Southampton parkway: 15.5 mi
Ferry: Southamption: 18.6 mi
The best way to come is from the A31 turning at Burley. You are then just 1.5 miles from the Stables. Castle Hill Lane is a forest track to your right at the first junction on a sharp left-hand bend about 1.3 miles from the A31 exit. Drive to the top of the hill and take the left fork and we are the only house.

Castle Hill Lane is gated half way along so it's not possible to come from the other end of the lane.
