Located on Bengal beach in Rio Bueno, approximately 50 minutes from Montego Bay, Sleepy Shallows is a spacious and playful family vacation home. Upstairs features the four large bedrooms and a playroom that overlooks the ocean and houses a pool table, darts, the television and other games.
Bedroom Configuration:
All bedrooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning and ceiling fans.
Master Bedroom – Green Room - King size Jamaican cedar bed, large en-suite bathroom with a double sink vanity, shower/tub, large closet and private balcony overlooking the pool and sea.
Bedroom 2 – Beige Room - King size Jamaican cedar bed, en-suite bathroom (shower only), large closet and private balcony overlooking the sea.
Bedroom 3 - Yellow Room (kids) - This room is designed with kids in mind. It has two sets of bunk beds to sleep four, large en-suite bathroom with shower/tub, and a walk in closet.
Bedroom 4 – Blue Room - King size bed made of Jamaican guango, en-suite bathroom with shower/tub, walk in closet and a view of the mountains.
The villa has a large fresh water pool with comfortable lounge chairs in shaded and sunny areas. The beach is just a few steps away and is perfect for small children as it has a gentle sandy entrance and few waves. The villa has 4 kayaks and other beach equipment.
Sleepy Shallows has a wonderful staff composed of a Cook, Butler, Housekeeper and Gardener.

Sleepy Shallows is a little piece of paradise in Rio Bueno Jamaica. The Staff were amazing and we were pampered from start to finish. I’ve stayed in many villas Islandwide and it was such a pleasure to have a proper chef. We gave her our planned menu and she knew how to cook everything we had on it, including our French Onion Soup.
The pandemic made me not want to go anywhere but the Villa follows all the protocols which gives you peace of mind. You have your own private beach and there are Kayaks if you want to explore a little. If you are looking for a family vacation or a vacation with friends Sleepy Shallows is the way to go. My only disappointment was when I had to leave. Sleepy Shallows I miss you, but don’t worry I’ll be back really soon. Nadia, Andrew, Greggory and Abigail thank you for taking such good care of us!

Value for money
We spent 5 nights at this beautiful 5 star service villa and we wished we didn't have to return to Kingston.
It was that good! From reservation to arrival to departure, we loved being catered to,the anazing meals like the ackee and saltfish and lobster thanks to Pauline the chef which we looked forward to each time, enjoying the pleasant weather, absolutely courteous staff and clean rooms thanks to Abigal our housekeeper.
The necessary precautions were taken for COVID and we literally forgot about our monotonous routine in Kingston.
We therefore highly recommend this vila and hope to return soon. That's for sure!

Paradise that ticks all the boxes.
We are here with family and friends for a reunion/get together and I can’t think of a better place to do it, both the property and location lends itself to any dynamic. It caters for everything. Big dining and seating areas both inside and outside for everyone to hang out and relax. Great little swimming pool for cooling off and relaxing by and with 12 steps your feet are on the sandy secluded beach. If you have young kids there is a games room with pool table and TV and an array of board games if they are not out playing volleyball, canoeing or splashing about in the pool the many inflatables, balls etc.
The very friendly and relaxed team of staff will cater for all your needs. I think Pauline cooked 7 different verities of breakfast this morning! From eggs Benedict through to vegetable omelet to french toast! All with coffee, orange juice and a great big smile!!
Bedrooms are all very comfortable with en-suite, air con and ceiling fans. One family room has a double and a bunk bed so could sleep 10 if you have a few kids or young family sharing a room.
I won’t keep going on but I hope to come back every year. Sad to be leaving today.
