Our private vacation villa on Lovina beach, north Bali, is for rent. The vacation rental consists of two separate luxury villas, each with their own private pool and both directly overlook the Bali Sea. The vacation homes are surrounded by a tropical garden of some 2600 m2 with a 50 meter beachfront on Lovina beach
Villa Insulinde is the larger and main vacation home for 2-6 persons, the Lumbung a completely separate and smaller vacation home for 2-4 persons. For larger groups of people both houses will be used.
The vacation villas are situated in the town of Dencarik just outside Lovina on a quiet road, some 800 meters from the Singaraja - Siririt highway.

The Lumbung has 2 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and a dining room / kitchen situated on the first floor with magnificent views over the Bali Sea and mountains. The Lumbung has a separate swimming pool of 4 x 8 m.
The villas have a permanent staff of 5, consisting of 2 cleaners, 2 gardeners and security.

Excellent villa for a relaxed vacation with family
This is our second visit to Villa Insulinde, last one was 2019. It felt great to come back again and enjoy the luxurious villa. This time we also rented Lumbung and stayed there with 9 persons. Combination of the quiet surrounding with the excellent staff, resulted in a very joyful start of our family holiday. Via the owner we also booked airport pick-up, which worked really well. Highly recommended stay!

Awesome Villa
We stayed here to do nothing but relax after 2 weeks traveling around Bali. The Villa and staff are beautiful. With just two of us, we only used one bedroom but they are all very nice. All the furnishing are very nice. The pool is awesome and clean and looks right over the beach. We probably enjoyed the daybed next to the beach the most as it's a great place for massages, reading, and beach watching. The Villa is well stocked if you want to cook but we just let the staff do that for us. The meals were not always to western standards but we enjoyed trying the local cooking. We would probably cook more next time. The staff came everyday and kept the Villa and Gardens looking immaculate. Can't speak much to the activities in this area as we stayed pretty much at the villa. My only concern was the A/C in the bedrooms was marginal and another in the tv/sitting room was not functioning. If you are one who needs it cool you may want to check to see if this has been addressed. The owner assured me it would be. During the day this was not an issue as the sea breeze kept the opened up Villa very comfortable. All in all we enjoyed this place immensely. From walking down the beach I would say this is one of the nicest villas in the area.

Perfect stay!
We had a great time at this beautiful property! The luxurious villa had everything we need and the staff was very pleasant as well! We really enjoyed the view at the sea and garden from all different places. Great place to relax :) Thank you & we will be back!

Return Visit
Our second time at the villa. As a family that lived in Bali, we know what we want and what we can expect. Villa Insulinde lives up to it all. Beautiful, modern, well-maintained home right on a black sand beach in quiet northern Bali. House staff are wonderful and plenty of decent restaurants nearby. Some of Bali's best diving and snorkeling are an hour to the West. We'll be back.

Wat een sprookje
Wat een sprookje!
11 nachten hebben wij 2 genoten van de droomvilla ‘Insulinde’ in Dencarik vlakbij Lovina.
De villa straalt stijl, allure en gezelligheid uit; een unieke combinatie. Het huis is zorgvuldig ingericht met Balinese accenten / meubels & veel kunst en zeer goed onderhouden. Het ontbreekt er aan niets!
De uitgebreide goed omschreven schriftelijke informatie (vooraf) van de eigenaar van Insulinde over het leven in en om de villa heeft ons goed op de hoogte gebracht.
De 5 stafleden (3 x Putu, Indra & Edy) hebben een eigen stafhuis. De staf is een zeer prettige crew; ze zijn op de hoogte van de villa, maar ook kunnen ze van alles regelen zoals taxi, dagtripjes, massages ed.
De dames Indra & Putu hebben ons enorm verwend met overheerlijke Balinese maaltijden naar eigen keuze nav hun menu.
De erg grote tropische tuin, waar we iedere dag iets moois hebben ontdekt, wordt door de tuinmannen Putu & Edy erg goed onderhouden.
De meeste tijd hebben we doorgebracht op de enorme veranda en het Balinese Loungehuisje, beiden met ruim uitzicht over de Balizee. Iedere dag / uur verandert het uitzicht afhankelijk van het wisselende weer. De zee & de lucht weerspiegelen steeds (zo mooi) de veranderende weersomstandigheden in kleur.
Het is soms moeilijk om weg te gaan / op pad, omdat het verblijf in de villa op-zich al zo vreselijk prettig is.
De chauffeur (Putu) heeft ons 3 x veilig naar diverse attracties gereden en naar ons volgend verblijf.
‘snachts heeft Putu (securityman) voor onze veiligheid gezorgd door ook samen met ons de (grote) villa af te sluiten.
Kortom; villa Insulinde is ons meer dan goed bevallen…echt een aanrader!

Tranquility
Tranquillity is the quality or state of being tranquil; calm.
"passing cars are the only noise that disturbs the tranquility of rural life"
This is what best describes Villa Insulinde. This is the 4th time we have stayed here over the last two years.
We live in Sanur Bali, and this is our home away from home. It's the perfect place to relax, to get away from everything.
The location is amazing, right on the beach with no one around. The villas next door are so far away you will be lucky to see anyone else there. each weekend we spend there, we never leave the Villa or beach right in front. The design of the villa means no matter what time of year you have a perfect breeze either coming down from the mountain or from the sea in front.
The Villa is just 10mins away from the shops where you can buy the essentials you need. The two staff are happy to help pick up anything you need and cook the perfect breakfast lunch and dinner.
I will be back with my family again and again here as they finish the throw road from Denpasar to Singaraja.

Comfort, tranquility and style
The Villa Insulinde is literally right on the beach- step through the fence and you are on the sand. It’s elegant and comfortable with three ensuite bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. However it will be the verandah and pool where you will live. A deep verandah with lounges, dining table and fans, where you can both see and hear the sea, cooled by a constant sea breeze. The verandah also overlooks a beautiful tropical garden of frangipannis and bougainvillea. The pool is a jewel -jade green, generous, warm and well-maintained. There is a shelf at the deep end where you can stand and watch the waves. The helpful and friendly staff keep everything clean and provide a good breakfast and other excellent meals on request. The wifi is good. There is a subscription TV but we were not prepared to enter our credit card details into an unsecured network, so can’t comment on that. You can go dolphin watching with a fishing boat straight from the beach in front of the villa. It is about 15 minutes drive to Lovina but a car and driver can be hired very reasonably..

Perfect stay in a wonderful place
We stayed with 10 persons during 1 week in Villa Insulinde. It was beyond expectation. What a wonderful place. Very luxurious and so spacious that you don't have a problem to find a private corner if you want to. The staff was amazing. Indra and Putu prepared delicious breakfast and dinner and they were so helpful with everything we wanted to do. Edy and Putu made sure the garden was in the best state each day, and Putu (yes, a lot of people are called Putu in Indonesia) made sure we felt save at night. No doubt this is my go to when I visit northern area of Bali another time.

Een pareltje in de buurt van Lovina!
Zoek je een villa voor 9 of 10 personen dan moet je deze villa hebben! Zowel de villa Insulinde als de Lumbung waar onze dochter en man en zoontje verbleven! Wat een prachtige plek om te verblijven. Echte verwennerij met alle voorzieningen! Geweldig personeel die je van alle gemakken voorzien! Heerlijke plek om te zwemmen (zwembad of in zee), te zonnen en te relaxen. In de omgeving genoeg te doen. Het bezoeken van watervallen (Gitgit) en Munduk. Zwemmen met dolfijnen! Bezoek aan enkele tempels en Lovina en Singaraja. Of ga golfen bij de Handara golfclub! Bij de villa is een heren set en dames set aanwezig van goede kwaliteit.
Dank Herman en Hetty dat wij in jullie mooie villa hebben mogen verblijven. Het personeel spreekt met waardering over jullie!

This place has the absolute wow-factor!
Although we booked the smaller accommodation (the bungalow), we were invited to stay at the villa instead. A big surprise! The whole entourage is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The staff is wonderful and cooks for you whatever you like. Transport can be arranged to wherever you want. We stayed for five days but could easily have stayed much longer.

We make use of the taxi organisation of our local village. They can be ordered by the staff for day trips, travel to and from Lovina, Singaraja, etc.
Several restaurants have a pick-up service and will come to the villa.
